Weekly question #26 Which do you prefer, physical books or e-books?

This is my article about weekly question from 英語手帳 2024. The theme in June is "Physical books vs. e-books" （紙の本と電子書籍、どちらが好き？）.

Weekly question: Which do you prefer, physical books or e-books?

I actually read both physical books and e-books. However, a bookstore is far away from my home. So, I tend to read e-books more these days. 

It also depends on what I want to read. Some books are sold as physical books, and vice versa. If I can't  purchase the book I want in e-book , I'll buy it from the website anyway. 

I sometimes try to look for books at the bookstore. It gives me chances to see what are new and the popular ones. 

紙の本と電子書籍、どちらが好きですか？

私は、紙の本と電子書籍のどちらも読みます。近くに本屋さんがないので、最近は電子書籍を読むことが増えています。

買いたい本の中には、紙でしか販売していないものもあります。逆に電子書籍でしか読めない本もあるので、欲しい本に合わせて選んでいます。紙の本でしか読めないものも、結局ネット購入することも多いです。

できれば、本屋さんで選びたいと思うときもあります。本屋さんだから、今こういう本があるんだと目に留まることもあります。
