Description

この作品は「原型への回帰と反復」というテーマに基づき、鳥の仮面を被った女性を繰り返し複製することで、人間が内に秘める熾烈な願望を表現しています。狂気を支える論理はアート作品や人類の文明に不可欠でありながらも、作家にとって論理とは感覚を抑える手段に過ぎません。この論理と感覚の共存は、合わせ鏡のような反復を生み出します。そこには終わりがなく、ただ無限にループする入れ子構造の世界があるだけです。人類の歴史や文化、戦争、紛争、さらには宇宙そのものも、このように構築されてきたのではないでしょうか。

This artwork, titled "Archetypus," explores the theme of "Repetition and a Return to the Archetypal," featuring multiple depictions of a woman wearing a bird mask, symbolizing humanity's inherent desires. The piece articulates the necessity of a logical structure underpinning art and civilization. In this narrative, logic serves merely as a restraint on the senses, initiating a perpetual cycle akin to reflections in facing mirrors—endlessly looping within nested structures. Research Abstract

この研究は視覚的な表現を通じて人の心を豊かにすることを目的としています。ここで言う豊かさとは、単なる物質的な富ではなく、心の平安や心理的充足も含まれます。本作品では、鑑賞者に対して心の平安というよりも、視覚的インパクトや心理的な感動を与えることを目指しました。その制作プロセスの9割以上はインスピレーションに基づいており、言語化することは極めて困難です。インスピレーションの起源は外的環境にあり、心理学的には超自我、スピリチュアルな観点では精霊とも解釈されます。心理学辞典やシュルレアリスムアート作品などを用いてデータ収集し、表現に活かした結果、鑑賞者からは強いインパクトによる感動というフィードバックを得ました。本作はビジネス、社会、思想、文化など、人間存在が築き上げてきた基幹的システムを包括的に表現しており、鑑賞者の反応が非常に多い作品の一つとなりました。明確な理由は不明ですが、おそらく人間の深層心理に強く訴えかけるものがあったためだと考えられます。

This research focuses on visual expressions that enrich the human spirit, encompassing not only material wealth but also mental serenity. Unlike other works, this piece aims to evoke a profound visual and emotional impact on the viewer, relying predominantly on inspiration—which is extremely challenging to verbalize. Inspiration, derived from the external environment, originates from the "superego" in psychology or "spirits" in the spiritual realm. By collecting data through psychological dictionaries and surrealistic artworks, the piece elicits powerful responses due to its deep psychological resonance and depiction of critical human systems like business, society, ideology, and culture. It is one of the works that received the most reactions from viewers, likely because it delves into the depths of the human subconscious.

The Creative / Research Challenge

この作品は絵画的な質感を出すために、元の型を留めないほど入念にブラシ加工を施しています。特にマスクは単なる複製とならないよう、一枚一枚丁寧に筆を入れています。美しさと醜さの境界線を越え、その先にある美的感覚を超えた心の表出を目指しています。

To achieve a painterly finish, the artwork was meticulously brushed to subtly blur its archetypal roots. Each mask was individually detailed to prevent simple replication. In pursuing the boundary between beauty and ugliness, the piece reveals a manifestation of the psyche that transcends mere aesthetic appreciation.

Operation / Flow / Interaction

仮面の複製は論理的計算に基づいて行われ、そこに残る違和感を感覚で補っています。また、左右非対称でありながらも左右対称に見えるよう工夫を凝らし、合わせ鏡を覗き込むような視覚効果を作り出しています。

Masks were replicated based on logical calculations, with intuitive adjustments compensating for any remaining inconsistencies. The design allows the artwork to appear both symmetrical and asymmetrical, reminiscent of peering into opposing mirrors.

Unique Properties / Project Description

同一人物の画像を複製してコラージュを作成しました。仮面は一つ一つが異なる表情を持つよう、それぞれに独自の修復や傷を加えています。

The artwork consists of a collage of repeated images of the same figure. Each mask was uniquely modified with individual restorations and damages to make them appear distinct.

Production Realization Technology (and Materials)

Adobe Lightroomで素材を加工後、Adobe Photoshopでコラージュを作成。その後、光彩の表現付与と補正を行い、一枚の作品として完成させました。再度Adobe Photoshopでレタッチを施し、最終的な表現を実現しています。寸法はA0サイズよりやや大きめで、200枚以上のレイヤーを使用したため、ファイルサイズは約20GBに及びます。ほとんどの作業はブラシツールを用い、非常に繊細な補正を行いました。ノスタルジックな雰囲気を醸し出すために、マスクに破損や修復を施すことで、全体の印象を強調しています。

Initial processing was done in Adobe Lightroom, followed by collage assembly in Adobe Photoshop. Enhancements and corrections were applied to finalize the image. Subsequently, all elements were integrated into a single composition and retouched from the beginning again in Adobe Photoshop. Although the dimensions are slightly larger than A0 size, the piece contains over 200 layers, resulting in a total file size of around 20GB. Detailed brushwork was predominantly used, and corrections were carried out with great delicacy. To evoke a sense of nostalgia, the masks were intentionally damaged and repaired, enhancing the overall atmosphere.
