はじめに（Introduction）

活動拠点を移し、ある程度時間も取れるようになりましたのでAIイラスト作品の投稿を note 以外にも行います。今回はアイス(Ai.s)さんにアカウントを作成しました。
Now that I’ve relocated and have a bit more free time, I’ve started sharing my AI-generated illustrations on platforms beyond Note. This time, I’ve created an account on Ai.s.

過去のトラウマ（psychological trauma from earlier in life）

かつて、投稿サイトを通じて自分が気に入った作品だけを、気軽にアップしていました。ところが、思いのほか注目を集め、特に中華圏を中心に海外からの依頼が殺到するようになりました。同時に、「反生成AI」と思われる方々からの厳しい反発も受け、徐々に発信を控える様になって行きました。
正直なお話ですが、自分の作品がそれほど大きな価値を持っているとは思っていませんでした。ですから「なぜここまで反響があるのか」と戸惑う気持ちもありました。ただ、アマチュア・プロ問わず、手描きのイラストレーターにとって、生成AIの存在が大きな脅威に映っていたのかもしれません。
実際、私の環境でもわずか90秒でそれなりのクオリティの作品が生成できてしまうのですから。
I used to casually upload only the works I personally liked to a posting site. However, to my surprise, they gained unexpected attention, and I began receiving a flood of requests from overseas—particularly from the Chinese-speaking world. At the same time, I also faced strong backlash from individuals who appeared to be opposed to generative AI. Gradually, this led me to refrain from sharing my work publicly.
To be honest, I never considered my creations to hold such significant value. I often found myself wondering, “Why is there such a strong reaction to my work?” That said, whether amateur or professional, many hand-drawn illustrators may have perceived the rise of generative AI as a serious threat. After all, in my own environment, it’s now possible to generate a reasonably high-quality image in just 90 seconds.

ちょっと極端かもしれませんが、国内における生成AIを巡る議論は、かつてトーキー映画の登場によって弁士たちが職を脅かされた時代を思わせます。生成AIを受け入れる側と、拒絶する側の対立構図は、その再現のように感じていました。
This might sound a bit dramatic, but the debate over generative AI in Japan reminds me of the era when the arrival of talkies threatened the jobs of film narrators. The tension between those who embrace generative AI and those who oppose it feels like history repeating itself.

あれから少し時は流れ、今では生成AIによるイラストも一定の認知を得ています。Ai.s（アイス）さんのような専門プラットフォームも登場し、環境は大きく変わりました。そんな中で「もう一度、作品を出してみようかな」と、自然と思えるようなりました。
もっとも、収益を最優先にはしていません。「気に入った方がいれば、手に取っていただけたらうれしい」――その程度の気持ちで活動しています。あくまでオリジナルの表現にこだわり、LoRAを活用しても原作のコピーのような二次創作は一切行いません。むしろ、そうした行為には反対の立場を取っています。
Since then, some time has passed, and illustrations created with generative AI have gradually gained wider recognition. Dedicated platforms like Ai.s have emerged, and the overall environment has changed significantly.
Amid these developments, I naturally began to feel, “Maybe it’s time to start sharing my work again.”
That said, profit is not my top priority. I simply hope that if someone finds value in my work, they might feel inclined to pick it up.
My activities are guided by that modest mindset.
I remain committed to original expression, and even when using LoRA, I never engage in derivative works that resemble copies of existing content. In fact, I take a clear stance against such practices.

参考程度にお見せしますが、学習モデル（LoRA含む）とプロンプトの組み合わせ次第でこのようなイラストが容易に作製できます。固有名称は避けますが、龍玉に出てくる人造人間No.18です。
Just for reference, here’s an example of an illustration that can be easily created depending on the combination of the model (including LoRA) and the prompt. I’ll avoid using the official name, but this is based on Android No. 18 from Ryutama.

結局

これからも、あくまで自分自身のオリジナルな世界観を大切にしながら創作を続けていきたいと考えています。生成AIでイラストを描き始めた当初、私が最も描きたかったのは「サイバーパンクな世界で生きるサイボーグの女の子」でした。初心を思い出すように、まずはその原点ともいえるテーマから、改めてスタートしてみようと思います。
Going forward, I hope to continue creating while staying true to my original worldview.When I first started drawing with generative AI, what I most wanted to depict was “a cyborg girl living in a cyberpunk world.”Recalling that initial inspiration, I’ve decided to return to my roots and begin again with that very theme.
