例題1-4（テーマ：請求書）【中高英語教員免許保持者によるIELTSスピーキング対策】
皆様こんにちは！
本日はスピーキングシリーズの例題を解いていきたいと思います。
私の記事では、単なる回答だけではなく、イメージを植え付けていけるような内容になっております。結局、文章で回答を覚えても、付け焼き刃できな回答になってしまいますので、体系的に覚えていただきたいです。
今回の例文は以下の4つです。

この比較的な質問が登場した場合、preferとcomparing to the past という表現が使える

過去の経験が登場したときは、ディスコースマーカーを意識すること！これを意識するだけで回答しやすくなると思います。

A few months ago, I completely forgot to pay my electricity bill because I was extremely busy with work and personal commitments.
By the time I remembered, I had already received a reminder notice. Thankfully, I was able to pay it immediately online and avoid any disconnection.
Since then, I’ve set up automatic payments so I won’t forget again. Forgetting to pay bills can be stressful, so now I try to stay more organized.

One way I try to make my energy bill cheaper is by keeping the heat in during the winter.
For example, I use heavy curtains and seal up any drafts around windows and doors. This helps prevent warm air from escaping, so I don’t have to turn the heater on as often or for as long.
It’s a small change, but it really makes a difference in lowering heating costs over time.
