Do you think it is a good thing for parents to help their children with schoolwork?
解説：今回は以下のようなフレーズはいかがでしょうか？

Yes, I believe it is generally a good idea for parents to support their children with schoolwork, especially at an early age.
Parental involvement can improve a child’s academic performance and also help them develop effective study habits.
For instance, when parents assist with homework, children may feel more motivated and confident in their learning.
However, I also think it’s important for parents to avoid becoming too involved.
If they complete the work for their children, it can reduce the child’s ability to think independently and solve problems on their own.
In my opinion, the best approach is for parents to guide and encourage their children, rather than doing everything for them.

はい、私は、特に幼い年齢のうちは、親が子どもの学習を手助けすることは基本的に良いことだと思います。親の関与によって、子どもの学力が向上するだけでなく、効果的な勉強習慣を身につけることができます。たとえば、親が宿題を手伝うことで、子どもはよりやる気を持ち、自信を持って学習に取り組めるようになるかもしれません。
しかし、親があまりにも関わりすぎるのは良くないとも思います。もし親が子どもの代わりに宿題をしてしまうと、子どもが自分で考えたり問題を解決したりする力が育たなくなる可能性があります。私の意見では、親は子どもを導き、励ます立場であるべきであり、すべてを代わりにやってしまうのは避けるべきだと思います。
ポイントとなる表現や解設
・I believe it is generally a good idea：
「私は〜だと思う」という意見を伝える丁寧で自然な言い方。
“generally” は「一般的に、基本的に」という意味で、主張をやや柔らかくしています。
・especially at an early age：
「特に幼い年齢では」＝親のサポートが必要な時期にフォーカスしています。
・Parental involvement：
「親の関与」。academicな語彙で、よくエッセイでも使われます。
・academic performance：
「学業成績」。これもフォーマルな表現です。
・assist with homework：
「宿題を手伝う」。“assist” は “help” よりフォーマルな語で、スコア7.0以上を目指すなら積極的に使いたい語彙です。
・feel more motivated and confident：
「やる気が出て、自信を持つ」。ポジティブな感情を表す語で、意見の裏付けになります。
・avoid becoming too involved：
「関与しすぎるのを避ける」。“become involved” で「関わる」、“too” を加えることで「過度な関与」を表現しています。
・think independently / solve problems on their own：
「自立して考える・自分で問題を解決する」＝学びの本質を表すフレーズです。
・the best approach is for parents to…
「最も良い方法は〜である」というしっかりした構文。スピーキングでも使える言い回しです。
・guide and encourage：
「導く、励ます」。親の理想的な役割を示しています。
・rather than doing everything for them：
「すべてを代わりにやるのではなく」。“rather than” は対比を強調する便利な表現
