When do families celebrate together in your country?

回答例

In my country, it doesn’t happen very often.
Usually, all the generations get together during major holidays like New Year or traditional festivals.
The frequency depends on factors like how close the family members live to each other and how busy their schedules are.
Although it’s not frequent, when such gatherings occur, they are very meaningful and help strengthen family bonds.

私の国では、家族全世代が集まることはあまり頻繁にはありません。
たいていは、正月や伝統的な祭りのような大きな祝日のときに集まります。
その頻度は、家族がどれくらい近くに住んでいるかや、それぞれの予定の忙しさなどの要因によって変わります。
頻繁ではないものの、そうした集まりがあるときはとても意味があり、家族の絆を深める助けになります。

ちなみに、あまり良くはありませんが、発音をカタカナ表記すると以下の通りです。

In my country, all the generations in a family usually come together only a few times a year.
The most common occasions are national holidays like New Year or religious festivals.
Sometimes, families gather for special events such as weddings or milestone birthdays.
However, because many people live far apart and have busy schedules, it’s difficult to arrange large family gatherings regularly.
Still, when they do happen, they are very meaningful and help strengthen family bonds.

私の国では、家族の全世代が集まるのは年に数回程度です。最も一般的なのは、正月や宗教的な祝祭日などの国の祝日です。
結婚式や節目の誕生日のような特別な行事で集まることもあります。
ただ、多くの人が離れた場所に住んでいたり忙しい予定があったりするので、大規模な家族の集まりを定期的に行うのは難しいです。
それでも、そうした集まりが実現するときはとても意義があり、家族の絆を深める助けになります。
