NYC / Coffee Diary Vol. 3 (Irving Farm Coffee)

Chai tea latte

Today's coffee diary entry is Irving Farm Coffee on the Upper West Side. This is also a local coffee chain with a few locations throughout the city.

The location on the Upper West Side is more than 45 mins. by train from Greenpoint, Brooklyn, and requires two transfers from the "G" train to the "7" train to the "1", "2", or "3" train (the "Red" line).

This route requires stamina

The coffee here is good. I also enjoy the space and the surrounding area on the Upper West Side.

There is a lot of extra seating towards the back of the coffee shop past the expresso counter and the bathroom.

There is a window in the ceiling to let in daylight
And plenty of seating
Help yourself to some water and cups here and enjoy the ambience

After enjoying a cup of coffee, take a stroll over to the American Museum of Natural History, one of my favorite destinations in the city.

Colors of autumn
The newly renovated entrance to the museum is stunning!

Too large to fit in the 35mm APS-C frame

And if you're feeling up to it, it's about a 15 min. walk down Broadway to Lincoln Center.
