Elie: They feel, um—I'm thinking now, in this era, watching them and watching everything happening like this is live television; maybe it's a show, and they are performing there. I mean if you really like get into it which I did, you feel like you're you're you're watching a piece of history in a way, like you're looking at a fossil or something. Like it's a mar—I'm marveling at something very huge, like wow. You know, we always look to the future about things and the present, but we never thought of looking to the past, to the origin of. But when you look at everything, it starts to go back to the past; it feels like it has a weight, like it's very valuable. 彼らを感じるっていうか……今こうしてこの時代の彼らを見ていて、すべてがこうしてライブのTVで繰り広げられているのを見ると、本当にショーなんだなって、彼らがそこでパフォーマンスしてるんだなって思うよ。つまり、僕みたいに本当に深く見入ってしまうと、ある意味で歴史の一部を観ているような気分になるんだ。まるで化石か何かを目の当たりにしているみたいに。驚くような、すごく大きなものを目の前にしているような気分だよ。僕らはいつも物事の未来や現在ばかり見ているけれど、その起源である過去を振り返ることは考えていなかった。でも、すべてが過去へ戻り始めると、そこに重みがあるというか、すごく価値のあるもののように感じられるんだ。
Carol: Definitely. And especially that it was in black and white. So it's for me because I'm really getting into the 60s and the 70s, and I'm really loving them. I'm putting my mindset in this era. So you feel like you belong there. Everything has a soul. Everything was so pure and perfect and light and, yeah, meaningful and cherishable. I don't know. But it feels like more than, uh, music or something. It feels like something of heritage and something of real talent., 間違いないわ。特に白黒映像だということもあって。私としては、今まさに60年代や70年代にどっぷりハマっていて、すごく気に入っているの。この時代のマインドセットに自分を置いているから、まるでその時代に自分が属しているような気分になる。すべてに魂が宿っている感じ。すべてがすごく純粋で完璧で、軽やかで……そう、意味があって大切にしたいものなの。分からないけど、ただの音楽以上のものに感じるわ。ある種の遺産というか、本物の才能を感じるのよね。
