山田は、数年前から継続的に行っている日時計のプロジェクト《Sun of the City》を起点に、葛尾村ではどのような日時計をつくることが可能かを思考するために、滞在中ワークショップ（以下WS）やリサーチを行った。1月に開催したWS「ミニ日時計をつくろう！」では、葛尾村にかつてあった「百石の家」の古材を使用し村民と共に小さな日時計を制作した。「百石の家」は葛尾村にて帰還困難区域が一部解除されたのち、多くの人に惜しまれながら解体された大屋敷で、放射能の影響を受けなかった家屋内部の建材が残されていた。 日時計は葛尾村の緯度と経度に合わせられており、私たちのアイデンティティと場所の関係について問いを投げかける。
オープンスタジオでは、WSで参加者と共に制作したミニ日時計と、その制作の様子を記録した映像を展示した他、葛尾村内でつくる日時計のいくつかのアイデアも同時に提示した。
For a number of years, Yamada has been organising a sundial project titled 《Sun of the City》. This was her starting point for the workshop and research she conducted during her residency in Katsurao where she considered what sort of sundial she could create in the village. In January, she ran a workshop titled 'Let's Make a Mini Sundial!' in which she and village residents reused old building materials from the Hyakkoku House to make a miniature sundial. The Hyakkoku House was a large estate that was demolished following the partial reopening of the exclusion zone in Katsurao. The building materials that made up the interior of the house were left behind as they were not exposed to radiation. The sundial is aligned to Katsurao's latitude and longitude. It prompts us to question our identity and relationships with places.
At the Open Studio, Yamada showed the sundial created together with the workshop participants and a video record of the creation process, while at the same time presenting a number of ideas for making sundials in Katsurao.

2つの領域での学びを通じて都市空間におけるアートの実践に興味を持つ。変動する都市環境の中で自らの行為をどのように作品として成立させることが出来るかについて関心を持ちながら、都市、自然、人間という要素を相対的に捉え、ものごとの関係を測り直す。主な展覧会に「黄金町バザール 2020 —アーティストとコミュニティ」（2020年、神奈川）、「Nocturne」（2022年、POETIC SCAPE、東京）、「瀬戸内国際芸術祭2022」（2022年、香川）など。また「ゲンビどこでも企画公募」入選（2016年、広島市現代美術館、広島）、「Prix Dauphine pour l’art contemporain」グランプリ（2015年、パリ、フランス）受賞。

Through her studies in the two areas, she came to focus on the Art practice in the real urban spaces. She is interested in how to realize/reflect what she creates in fluctuating urban society to measure relativity with the city, the nature and the human. She has participated in exhibitions include: “Koganecho Bazaar 2020 Artists and Communities” (2020, Kanagawa, Japan), “Nocturne”（2022, POETIC SCAPE, Tokyo, Japan）, “Setouchi Triennale 2022” (2022, Kagawa, Japan)
She won “Dokodemo Open Call” (2016, Hiroshima City Museum of Contemporary Art, Japan) and Grand Prix “Prix Dauphine pour l’art contemporain” (2015, Paris, France).
