まだ知らない日本を、Lapinと一緒に。はじめまして、Lapinです。
私は、歴史が好きな夫と一緒に日本各地を旅しています。
歴史ある神社やお寺、昔の面影が残る町並み、美しい景色、その土地で大切に受け継がれてきた文化や物語。
夫婦で旅をしながら、そんな日本ならではの魅力に触れる時間を楽しんでいます。
日本には、誰もが知る有名な観光地がたくさんあります。
その一方で、まだ広く知られていない場所や、名前は知っていても、その歴史や本当の魅力まではあまり知られていない場所もたくさんあります。
私たち自身、旅先で思わず、
「日本に、こんな素敵な場所があったんだ」
と驚くことがあります。
有名ではなくても、心に残る美しい景色。
静かな時間が流れる、歴史ある町並み。
その土地で大切に守られてきた文化や物語。
実際に歩いてみたからこそ気づける、小さな魅力。
私は、そんな日本をこのブログで紹介していきたいと思っています。
お伝えするのは、観光地の基本情報だけではありません。
その場所にはどのような歴史があるのか、実際に訪れてどのように感じたのか、何が印象に残ったのか。そして、私たちが「ここは本当におすすめしたい」と思った理由も、自分たちの言葉でお伝えしていきます。
夫は歴史の背景や、昔から伝わる物語に興味を持ち、私はその場所の景色や雰囲気、心に残ったことに目を向けることが多くあります。
同じ場所を訪れても、感じ方や注目するところは少しずつ違います。
そんな二人の視点も、このブログの中で楽しんでいただけたら嬉しいです。
誰もが知る有名な場所もあれば、静かでまだあまり知られていない場所もあります。
華やかな絶景だけでなく、どこか懐かしさを感じる風景や、ただそこにいるだけで心が落ち着く場所もあります。
私たちが紹介したいのは、「絶対に行くべき場所」だけではありません。
実際に訪れて、素直に、
「ここに来てよかった」
と思えた日本です。
日本に暮らしていても、まだ知らない景色や物語はたくさんあります。
そして、海外で日本の歴史や伝統、神社仏閣、町並みなどの「和」の文化に興味を持ってくださる方にも、よく知られた観光地だけではない、日本のさまざまな表情をお伝えできたらと思っています。
このブログが、日本で新しい旅先を探している方にとっても、いつか日本を訪れてみたいと思っている海外の方にとっても、新しい発見につながる場所になれば嬉しいです。
皆さんの「いつか行ってみたい場所」が、ひとつでも増えますように。

Hello, I’m Lapin.
I travel across Japan with my husband, who has a deep love of history.
Historic shrines and temples, streetscapes that preserve the atmosphere of the past, beautiful scenery, and the traditions and stories that have been carefully passed down through generations—these are the things that draw us to different parts of Japan.
As we travel together, we enjoy discovering the unique beauty, history, and culture that make each place special.
Japan has many famous destinations that almost everyone knows.
At the same time, there are also many wonderful places that are still not widely known. Some may have familiar names, yet their history and true charm remain largely undiscovered.
Even we sometimes find ourselves saying,
“I had no idea there was such a wonderful place in Japan.”
Beautiful scenery does not have to be famous to stay in your heart.
There are historic streets where time seems to pass quietly.
There are traditions and stories that local communities have carefully protected for generations.
And there are small details that can only be noticed by walking through a place yourself.
These are the sides of Japan that I would like to share through this blog.
I will introduce more than basic sightseeing information.
I want to explore the history behind each place, share how it felt to visit, describe what left the strongest impression on us, and explain in our own words why we genuinely believe a destination is worth recommending.
My husband is often drawn to historical backgrounds and stories passed down from long ago. I tend to notice the scenery, atmosphere, and little moments that stay with me after we leave.
Even when we visit the same place, we may experience it differently and notice different things.
I hope you will enjoy discovering Japan through both of our perspectives.
Some of the places we introduce will be famous destinations known to almost everyone. Others will be quiet places that are still relatively unknown.
We will share not only spectacular views, but also nostalgic landscapes and peaceful places where simply being there can make you feel at ease.
We are not here to introduce only the places that people say you “must visit.”
We want to share the Japan that made us genuinely think,
“I’m so glad we came here.”
Even when you live in Japan, there are still so many landscapes, places, and stories waiting to be discovered.
I also hope to share the many different sides of Japan with people overseas who are interested in Japanese history, traditions, shrines, temples, historic streetscapes, and the beauty of traditional Japanese culture—not only the country’s best-known tourist destinations.
I hope this blog becomes a place of discovery for people in Japan who are searching for their next destination, as well as for international readers who dream of visiting Japan someday.
