モハメド（23）とムハナド・アル・N（25）は、18歳の妹ライアンの名誉殺人への関与を依然として否定している。
Mohamed (23) and Muhanad Al N. (25) still deny any involvement in the honor killing of their 18-year-old sister, Ryan.

この若い女性の遺体は、昨年5月28日、レリスタットの沼地で通行人によって発見された。
The young woman’s body was found by a passerby in a swamp pool in Lelystad on May 28 last year.

検察庁（OM）は、ライアンが家族の定めた規範に従わなかったため、父親と2人の兄弟が彼女を殺害したと考えている。
The Public Prosecution Service (OM) believes that her father and two brothers murdered her for not living up to the standards set by the family.

NOSの報道によると、レリスタットの裁判所は、2人の兄弟は9月の次回審理まで拘留されるという判決を下した。
The two brothers will remain in custody until the next hearing in September, the court in Lelystad ruled, NOS reports.

ライアンさんは5月22日、ジュールにある実家から姿を消しました。
Ryan disappeared from her family home in Joure on May 22.

遺体は1週間後に発見されました。
Her body was found a week later.

OMによると、この若い女性は猿ぐつわをかまされ、縛られた状態で水中に投げ込まれ、溺死させられました。
According to the OM, the young woman was gagged and tied up and thrown into the water to drown.

彼女の爪の下から父親のDNAが検出されました。兄弟たちは彼女の死は父親のせいだと考えています。
Her father’s DNA was found under her fingernails. Her brothers blame their father for her death.

父親は依然として逃亡中で、シリアへ逃亡したとみられている。
The father is still at large. He is believed to have fled to Syria.

彼はテレグラフ紙に2通のメールを送り、娘殺害を自白し、息子たちは関与していないと主張したとされている。
He allegedly sent the Telegraaf two emails, confessing to his daughter’s murder and saying that his sons were not involved.

しかし、オマーン検察官は、父親が息子たちにライアンを連れ出し、人里離れた場所まで運転させ、重たい遺体を水中に投げ込ませたと考えている。But the OM believes that the father enlisted his sons to pick Ryan up, drive her to a remote location, and throw her weighted body into the water.

オマーン検察官によると、3人の男はライアンが西洋人のように振る舞い、家族に「恥をかかせた」ため、彼女を殺害したという。
According to the OM, the three men killed Ryan because she behaved too Western and “shamed” her family.

兄弟の弁護士は、公判前勾留からの釈放を求めた。
The brothers’ lawyers requested that they be released from pre-trial custody.

彼らは約13ヶ月間拘留されている。二人とも妹の殺害とは「何の関係もない」と主張している。
They have been detained for almost 13 months. Both insist that they “had nothing to do” with their sister’s murder.

しかし、裁判所は9月の次回審理まで勾留を続けると判決を下した。
But the court ruled that they’ll stay in custody until the next hearing in September.

彼らに対する裁判は11月に開始される。
The trial against them will start in November.
