ウクライナのドニプロペトロウシク州ニコポリ地区で、ロシア軍がドローンを使って新型の小型対人地雷「プリャニク」の投下を開始したと、同地区軍事行政長官のイワン・バジリュク氏が4月6日、テレグラムで報告した。
Russian troops have started dropping new compact Pryanik anti-personnel mines from drones in Ukraine’s Nikopol district of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, Ivan Bazyliuk, head of the district military administration, reported on Telegram on April 6.

バジリュク氏によると、直径約5～6センチでワッシャーやボトルキャップのような形をしたこれらの地雷は、色と材質が土壌や草、瓦礫などに溶け込むため、極めて発見が困難だという。
The mines, roughly 5–6 centimeters in diameter and resembling a washer or bottle cap, are extremely difficult to spot because of their color and material, which blend into soil, grass or debris, according to Bazyliuk.

「ほんの少し触れただけで爆発するんです。踏んだだけでも爆発します」と当局者は説明した。
“It goes off at the slightest touch—all it takes is stepping on it,” the official explained.

プリャニク地雷は、よく知られているPFM-1レペストク地雷よりも小型だが、より強力だ。ロシア軍は道路、庭、畑、路肩などにこれを散布している。
The Pryanik is smaller than the familiar PFM-1 Lepestok mine but more powerful. Russian forces are scattering them on roads, yards, fields, and roadsides.

ウクライナ国家非常事態庁はヘルソン州で、敵がこれらの地雷を大量に配備しており、民間人の危険性が著しく高まっていると警告した。
Ukraine’s State Emergency Service in Kherson Oblast warned that the enemy is deploying these munitions in large quantities, significantly increasing danger to civilians.

3月29日、ウクライナ国防省顧問のセルヒー・“フラッシュ”・ベスクレストノフ氏は、ロシアのシャヘド無人機が地雷を投下する様子を映した動画を公開した。
On March 29, Ukrainian Defense Ministry adviser Serhii “Flash” Beskrestnov published a video showing a Russian Shahed drone releasing mines.

「この動画は国境から50キロの地点での投下を捉えたものです」とフラッシュ氏はキャプションに記した。
“The video shows a drop 50 kilometers from the border,” Flash said in the caption.

同氏は、地雷への接近は厳禁だと警告した。
He warned that approaching the mines is strictly prohibited.
