Wow! Look at this place!
( All characters: 2-head-tall cute chimpanzees, straw hats, colorful Aloha shirts, sunflower sunglasses. )
( Bright shamisen-style music plays throughout. )
( Camera angle changes dramatically every 2 seconds like a movie. )
The screen opens with a dazzling sunrise.
A low-angle dolly shot reveals tiny, charming chimpanzees climbing the scaffolding of a brand-new house, their sunflower sunglasses gleaming.
CHIMP MERCY:
“Wow! Look at this place! It feels like a new beginning!”
CHIMP TAKERU:
“Today’s a big day. Let’s make it unforgettable!”
Camera snap-pan to overhead shot.
Mercy stands proudly, holding a scroll. The shamisen melody picks up speed.
CHIMP MERCY:
“Alright everyone… time for the Great Purification!”
He raises the scroll, the camera zooms in with a dramatic lens flare.
The wind blows gently.
Particle effects sparkle around them as Mercy recites the Ōharae Norito, voice echoing across the glowing 3D landscape.
CHIMP KOUYUU (the monk):
“Your words travel beautifully, Mercy. The spirits must be pleased!”
Quick cut to a swirling 360° shot.
Mercy picks up a tiny shamisen-shaped mic and begins singing “Thank You, Shrine” followed by “Daikoku-sama.”
Bright colors burst behind him like festival fireworks.
CHIMP MERCY:
“Let gratitude flow… and happiness grow!”
CHIMP CHILDREN (in chorus):
“Yaaaay!! Sing more, Mercy!”
The camera swings into a crane shot.
Music intensifies—here comes the 餅まき / Mochi Toss moment.
A giant basket of mochi is brought out.
Everyone climbs onto the roof, the camera now in first-person POV, wobbling slightly like an action movie.
CHIMP TAKERU:
“Ready… three! Two! One! Throw!!”
They launch mochi into the air.
Slow-motion shot. Mochi flies past the camera, sunlight reflecting off each piece.
CHIMP KIDS:
“Wooooo!!! Catch it!! Catch it!!”
A quick whip-pan shows the villagers scrambling joyfully, laughing, tripping, rolling—everything in adorable 2-head-tall chimp style.
CHIMP MERCY:
“This is pure happiness… everyone celebrating together.”
CHIMP KOUYUU:
“That’s the heart of tradition. And today, you added your own light.”
Camera pulls back to a wide sunset shot.
The house glows softly.
Chimps stand in a row, hats tilted, sunflowers shining.
CHIMP MERCY:
“Thank you all for letting me be part of this sacred moment. My heart is full.”
CHIMP TAKERU:
“And this new home… may it stay blessed forever!”
ALL CHIMPS:
“Yaaaaaay!!”
Bright shamisen music rises.
The camera makes one final cinematic orbit around the chimps, then fades out.
