📘 About the Book "Tamayura no Shinjitsu"
Author: Myoukei Kusano
I received a special message from Master Somon Horisawa, a respected Buddhist teacher of the Tendai school.
He said:
"I hope many people will read this book and learn the truth of the whole."
I feel very thankful 😢🙏
Master Horisawa completed 12 years of hard Buddhist training.
He was the head of Eizan School and Sanzenin Temple.
📖 How I Met Master Horisawa
On May 8th, 2025, there was a big meeting at Enryakuji Temple on Mount Hiei.
It was about world peace and religious understanding.
Teachers from different religions came, including Jewish and Islamic leaders.
About 20 Buddhist monks also joined.
During the meeting, I introduced myself and said:
"I write novels to share my ideas."
Later, at the dinner after the meeting, Master Horisawa asked:
"What kind of novel do you write?"
So, I sent him my book, Tamayura no Shinjitsu.
💗 What the Book Is About
The story is about a woman who loves someone with all her heart.
But the love breaks, and she feels deep pain.
Then, she finds peace and understanding inside herself.
The story takes place in the ancient Korean kingdom of Baekje, not in Japan.
This makes the story feel more like a fairy tale—but also very real.
✨ A Special Experience
One day, the woman goes to a quiet place.
She is very sad and lies down on the ground.
Then something strange and beautiful happens.
She learns:
"Tamayura" is the sound made when two sacred jewels touch.
Love is like that—it seems to need two people.
But true love does not depend on others.
Love already exists inside everything.
🌏 Oneness and the Whole
"There is only one great Whole.
We all live within that Whole like layers.
But because of our bodies, we forget we are connected.
Actually, there is no 'me' and no 'others'—everything is one.
When we understand this deeply,
we stop searching outside ourselves.
We feel peace in the eternal Whole."
❓ Questions and Answers
At the end of the book, Myoukei Kusano answers many deep questions.
Here is one:
Q: How can a person full of desire meet the Whole?
A: Because we already live inside the Whole.
When the ego drops away, we can meet it.
💡 What Makes Ego Disappear?
"When we truly surrender—not just say we do.
The Whole is beyond time and space.
It is not on the same level as us.
So to meet it, we must become fully open and honest."
📚 Final Words from Master Horisawa
"This book explains deep Buddhist teachings very well.
People should read it.
It brings us close to the truth of Oneness."
