YouTubeはじめました（2025年10月27日のAIイラスト）
YouTubeにチャンネルを作成して、ショート動画を公開しています。ショート動画と言ってもいまのところはGrok Imagineで動画化したものをそのままアップロードしているだけですが。
YouTubeに公開した理由は、このnoteのためというのが一番大きいです。というのも、以前もnoteに踏まとして書きましたが、noteは記事内に動画を埋め込むことができないんですよね。今どき珍しいと思います。
いままでは、Xの動画ポストを埋め込んでいましたが、それだとnote内で再生できないなど不便でした。で、すと他の人のnoteを見て、YouTubeで公開している動画ならば埋め込むことができることを知りました。
なんだ、できるんじゃん。
というわけで、Xにポストした動画をYouTubeでもショート動画として公開することにしました。チャンネル自体は別件で既に作っていたので、そこにアップロードするだけです。
仕事でチャンネルの管理をしているので、動画の公開などは経験があるのですが、公開後のアナリティクスとかはまったく見ていなかったんですよね。
今回、自分のチャンネルで公開してみて、YouTubeはYouTubeなりの運用があるということを知りました。まず、公開してすぐに250回くらい再生されるパターンがありますね。その後はまったく再生数が増えないので、新規投稿がどこかに表示されているのかもしれません。
このパターンに乗らない動画は、本当にびっくりするくらい再生されないですね。Xの新規アカウントでイラストをポストした時と同じ感覚です。まったく見てもらえない。
といっても、Xの新規アカウントと同じで、コンテンツへの流入経路が無いので当然と言えば当然です。わたしはこのnoteがあるので、こちらからポツポツと見ていただいているようですね。
YouTubeで、しかもショート動画オンリーで収益化することは到底無理そうなので、noteで紹介するための「動画置き場」として活用したいと思います。
