イノベーションが生まれる街の条件とは？
今回は、バンクーバーから福岡に来られている連続起業家・工藤博樹さんをメインゲストにお迎えする、特別な番外編です。
世界中から人が集まる「開かれた街」バンクーバー。多様なルーツを持つ人々が当たり前のように隣り合い、違いが摩擦ではなく資源になっていく。そして、イノベーションが生まれ続ける街でもあります。それを可能にしている条件とは何なのか——そして福岡にも、それは起こせるのか。
東京・シンガポール・フランスを経てバンクーバーに拠点を移し、いまは北米と日本のスタートアップをつなぐ工藤さんは、この問いを語るのにこれ以上ない方です。さらに、日本のデジタルノマド市場を牽引する大瀬良亮さん（CoLive Fukuoka）、バンクーバー在住経験を持つ経営者・秋間早苗が加わり、バンクーバーを鏡にしながら、イノベーションの源泉と福岡の「これから」を掘り下げます。

工藤 博樹（くどう ひろき）｜メインゲスト
連続起業家／INSEAD MBA
2000年、東京工業大学（現・東京科学大学）修士課程修了後、日本IBMでプロジェクトマネージャーを務める。2008年にINSEADでMBAを取得し、経営戦略コンサルティングに従事。2010年にロコンド、翌年にメリービズを創業。2015年にはFintech協会を設立し、初代共同代表理事に就任。2021年にカナダへ移住し、UBC（ブリティッシュコロンビア大学）で起業家コースの講師・メンターを務める。現在は北米と日本のスタートアップ・VC・大企業の橋渡しをしながら、Climatetechのグローバルコミュニティを育てている。
大瀬良 亮（おおせら りょう）｜ゲスト／CoLive Fukuoka
1983年、長崎県長崎市生まれ。筑波大学卒業後、電通でプロモーション・PR分野の経験を積み、内閣官房のソーシャルメディアディレクター、つくば市役所のまちづくりアドバイザーを歴任。旅のサブスク「HafH（ハフ）」を創業し、2022年に株式会社遊行を設立。現在は金沢大学先端観光科学研究所の特任准教授として、日本および海外のデジタルノマド市場の発展に貢献している。

秋間 早苗（あきま さなえ）
株式会社La torche代表／『脳マネジメント』著者。「変化を、違いを、『これから』をつくる力にする」を掲げ、認知科学をベースに個人・組織・地域の変容を支援する。カナダ・バンクーバーで「違いが当たり前」の環境を4年間生きたのち、福岡・糸島へ移住。その経験から、地元の人（ローカル）とよそから来た人（グローバル）を掛け合わせ、違いを活かし合うことで新しい価値を生み出す「ナシテフクオカ」を立ち上げた。米ウォール・ストリート・ジャーナル「New Era Leaders」特別賞受賞。

藤井 佑耶（ふじい ゆうや）
1986年、兵庫県神戸市生まれ。高校卒業後、バンクーバーに留学し、移住。2010年より保育士・エンジニアに特化した就職、移住支援事業を行う。昨年から筑紫野市に在住。海外経験のある保育士・エンジニアに特化した人材紹介事業を行う。
→20年間バンクーバー在住だった立場から、当日はフロアより対話に加わります。

What makes a city where innovation is born?
We're delighted to welcome Hiroki Kudo — a serial entrepreneur based in Vancouver, currently visiting Fukuoka — as our main guest for this special edition.
Vancouver is an "open city" that draws people from all over the world. People of diverse roots live side by side as a matter of course, and differences become a resource rather than friction. It's also a city where innovation keeps emerging. What are the conditions that make that possible — and can Fukuoka create them too?
Having moved from Tokyo, Singapore, and France to Vancouver, and now bridging the startup ecosystems of North America and Japan, Hiroki Kudo is uniquely placed to speak to this question. Joining him are Ryo Osera (CoLive Fukuoka), a leading figure in Japan's digital nomad movement, and Sanae Akima, an entrepreneur who lived in Vancouver herself. Together, using Vancouver as a mirror, they'll explore where innovation comes from — and what's next for Fukuoka.
For a city now beginning to draw people from abroad, this is a timely question to take on together.

Hiroki Kudo | Main Guest
Serial Entrepreneur / INSEAD MBA
After completing his master's at Tokyo Institute of Technology (now Institute of Science Tokyo) in 2000, he worked as a project manager at IBM Japan. He earned his MBA at INSEAD in 2008 and worked in management strategy consulting. He founded Locondo in 2010 and MerryBiz the following year, and in 2015 established the Fintech Association of Japan as its first Co-Representative Director. In 2021 he moved to Canada, where he teaches and mentors in the entrepreneurship program at UBC (University of British Columbia). Today he bridges startups, VCs, and large corporations across North America and Japan, while growing a global climate-tech community.
Ryo Osera | Guest / CoLive Fukuoka
Born in Nagasaki in 1983. After graduating from the University of Tsukuba, he built his career in promotion and PR at Dentsu, later serving as a social media director for the Cabinet Secretariat and a city-development advisor for Tsukuba City. He founded the travel subscription service "HafH" and established Yugyo Inc. in 2022. He is also a specially appointed associate professor at Kanazawa University's Research Institute for Advanced Tourism Science, contributing to the growth of the digital nomad market in Japan and abroad.

Sanae Akima
CEO of La torche Inc. and author of Brain Management. Under the banner "turning change and difference into the power to create what's next," she draws on cognitive science to support transformation in individuals, organizations, and communities. After spending four years in Vancouver, Canada — where difference is simply the norm — she relocated to Itoshima, Fukuoka. Drawing on that experience, she founded Nashite Fukuoka, a community that multiplies locals and newcomers ("global" arrivals) together to create new value by making the most of their differences. She is a recipient of the Wall Street Journal's "New Era Leaders" special award.

Yuya Fujii
Born in Kobe in 1986. After high school, he studied in Vancouver and settled there. Since 2010, he has run a recruitment and relocation-support business specializing in childcare workers and engineers with international experience. He now lives in Chikushino. Having lived in Vancouver for 20 years, he'll join the conversation from the floor.
