"名前を呼ぶ" ことを求める彼の正体は、天使なのかもしれません。

・Please call my name – 宗教の文脈では「お願い」ではなく、「私の名を呼べ（それが救済の条件だ）」という命令です。天使は、人間の声(祈り) を契機として顕現します。

・wild lands - 荒野は、天界と人間界のあいだにあり、悪や混沌が支配する場所です。神・救世主などは、そこを通って現れます。ラブストーリーの文脈では「困難を乗り越えて 君を守りたい」という意味でしょう。

・You can’t tell left from right –「迷えるもの、救いを求めるべき者」と解釈できます。
