Stand up, Japanese consumers and boycott America's products
What you can get out of this article: Politics win over economics. Trump shows this. This is high time for consumers interfere with unfair deals. Boycott American products is an option. The picture above refers to https://00m.in/NsHYI
Trump is wrong in any way
Trump has been pushing 25% tariffs on Japanese products imported to America.
He insists that trade deficits against America is due to Japanese weird business practices and higher tariffs would help the trade imbalance improved.
The late Shinzo Abe, assassinated former prime minister of Japan countered Trump saying Ford and GM never even change the position of steering wheels.
Little efforts to adjust to market tastes has been totally overlooked by the Trump side.
Originally, high tariffs are against WTO rules obeying free trade keeping tariffs as low as possible for the sake of "free trade" which America has been advocating.
America now opposes to the rules they themselves put in place.
Protests against "Trump tariffs" shows both American companies and consumers get no benefits out of Trump trade policies which doesn't make sense.
Politics over economics
Trump obviously doesn't let the economy do it her way, rather he interrupts it through forceful political power under the name of executive order.
Trump's visible hand over Adam Smith's invisible hand.
He even interrupt the freedom of thoughts pushing American companies and universities turn themselves against humanity such as respects for sexual minority and freedom of speech and the value of DEI, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
This is not an issue of legitimacy that American president can do his way, but an issue of possible violation of Constitution.
As long as he does it within legal permission, economy has no way to declare defeat.
It's consumers' turn
Can we let him do it?
If we let him go his way, the world economy will sure get ruined.
The drastic rise in tariff, they fear, might trigger the World War 3.
Isn't it high time for world consumers to stand up against the autocratic figure?
They are already doing it.
Canadians, some peoples in European countries are boycotting American products, an obvious sign of protest against Trump.
Stand up, Japanese consumers!
Japanese consumers should also rise and shout "No American products!"
As a peace-wishing nation, Japanese consumers pray for the second thought on Trump.
But they cannot count on Ishiba, the premier of Japan, because he lacks in essential skills to win over Trump.
He doesn't speak English having no sense of persuading people with different cultures.
His weakness is shared by most of Japanese.
It is feared that even Japanese youngsters are getting less interested in going abroad and communicate different cultures.
They have been educated in a pure isolation excluding childs in different cultures.
Those Japanese youngsters even have a chance to discuss social issues with others.
I believe if Japanese consumers stand up and boycott American products, it sure contribute to the world peace helping Trump to derail his path.
But, hey, the people in the world, you also can not count on Japanese consumers.
They are not awake yet.
In other words, they are naive enough to understand that stopping Trump is on their shoulders.
