29 it was pleasant and sunny on the Terrace.

When the wind was in the east  a smell came  across the harbour from the shark factory;  but today there was only the faint edge of the odour because the wind had backed into the north  and then dropped off  and  it was pleasant and sunny on the Terrace.

　風が東から吹く時には、この工場の臭いが港を越えて漂ってきた。しかし今日はほんのわずかな臭いしか感じられない。風は北向きに変わり、それもやんでしまったからだ。テラスは心地よく陽に照らされていた。
