Kamikawa Town, Kanzaki District, Hyogo Prefecture, is one of the rare places in Japan where the original rural landscape still remains.
We, as the “Association for Reviving the Jomon Forest”, are committed to restoring the peaceful, nature-friendly way of life that is deeply rooted in the Japanese spirit — and to passing it on to the future.

Our vision includes:
• Restoring diverse broadleaf forests
• Practicing natural farming
• Reviving pure mountain springs for Iwana and Yamame trout
• Creating a base that generates local employment

All of this is for one purpose — to leave a town for the next generation that they can be proud of.
