金原ひとみ

（かねはら・ひとみ）

1983年、東京生まれ。小学校６年のとき、アメリカ・サンフランシスコに一年間滞在、そのとき村上龍や山田詠美の作品に親しむ。小説は中学生の頃から書きはじめる。『蛇にピアス』で第27回すばる文学賞を受賞し作家デビュー。今年、同作品で第130回芥川賞を受賞する。

Born in Tokyo in 1983. In her sixth year of elementary school, she spent a year in San Francisco, USA, where she was fond of the works of Murakami Ryu and Yamada Eimi. She started writing novels in junior high school. She made her debut as an author when she won the 27th Ibaraki Literature Prize for "Snakes and Earrings." This year, she won the 130th Akutagawa Prize for the same work.
