　ハリー杉山さん（37才）は、パーキンソン病で認知症も併発していた父ヘンリー・スコットさん（享年83）の介護を経験した。晩年の父は、介護施設で穏やかに過ごしていたが、コロナ禍で面会が制限されてしまった。父の緊急搬送から看取りまで、およそ10年。介護と向き合ってきたハリーさんが今、伝えたいこととは。

Harry Sugiyama (37) cared for his father, Haru "Scott" (83), who was in a nursing home and suffered from Parkinson's disease and dementia. His father was living peacefully in his final years, but visits were restricted due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

　ハリーさんが「なんでも話せる大親友。お互いをハリー・ヘンリーと呼び合う仲でした」と語る最愛の父、ヘンリーさんは、イギリス人ジャーナリストとして活躍してきた。しかし、2012年、ヘンリーさんが75才のときにパーキンソン病で認知症も併発。このとき、ハリーさんは27才。母親と共に在宅介護を続けてきたが、2016年、父は介護施設へ入所した。

Harry describes his beloved father, Hall, as "a great friend I could talk to about anything. We called each other Harry Hall." Hall was a successful journalist.
