🌈 For your Health !

🌛 Good evening!

Today, I tried making 5 Bangladeshi-style dishes using authentic Bangladeshi spices❣️

With help from “ChatGPT-teacher” I adapted the recipes so they can be made using ingredients commonly found in Japanese homes!

⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️

Small Japanese spices in the center, with large Bangladeshi spice packs on either side!

⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️⚜️

① Tandoori Chicken 🍗

A classic dish where chicken is marinated in yogurt and spices, then grilled or baked until tender and flavorful.

→ I marinated mine in a ziplock bag.

② Samosa 🥟

A crispy triangular snack filled with spiced potatoes, lentils, or vegetables.

Crispy on the outside and bursting with flavor on the inside—it's a popular Bangladeshi street food!

→ I baked mine in the toaster oven instead of deep-frying.

(Shown with "③ Chop 🥬" in the next photo.)

③ Chop 🥬

A beloved street food in Bangladesh made from mashed potatoes, fish, or vegetables, spiced and deep-fried like croquettes.

→ I gave it a Japanese twist using aonori (seaweed flakes) and katsuobushi (bonito flakes) to create a “mini okonomiyaki” style!

→ 🇯🇵 Japanese-style presentation with 🇧🇩 respect for Bangladeshi flavors ✨💕

④ Shobji (Hot Vegetables) 🥦

A light vegetable stew, often cooked in mustard oil in Bangladesh.

→ If you don’t have mustard oil, you can substitute with sesame oil and a pinch of mustard seeds.

→ I used Japanese ingredients like bean sprouts and mizuna (potherb mustard).

⑤ Aloo Bharta (Mashed Potatoes) 🥔

Simple yet flavorful—boiled potatoes mixed with mustard oil, raw onion, and green chili.

→ I used Japanese-style potato salad as a base.

🧉 A Bangladeshi-inspired Universal Sauce!

→ I used this sauce for all five dishes!

⚜️ Ingredients ⚜️

→ I created a Japan-inspired sauce using garlic and sesame oil as the base.

🎊 All done! 🎊

If you would likd to cook Bangladeshi food in Japan, these are the key spices you'll need:

• Mustard oil
• Onion
• Garlic
• Ginger
• Turmeric
• Cumin
• Salt
• Chili pepper
• Lemon juice

🌈 On the same day,

I also cooked '🇮🇩 Indonesian food'.

I’d be really happy

if you take a look 🤭❣️

🌈 It all started with these spices❣️

Thank you so much for watching
