🌈 For your health
Hi everyone! 👋
This time, I made Easy Microwave Jumbo Shumai with Rice Paper (no need to wrap!)
and Anchovy Cream Soy Sauce to go with it!
They’re light, fluffy, and healthy — thanks to tofu for extra volume 💕

⚜️ Ingredients ⚜️

Ground meat (frozen)
Tofu
Finely chopped onion
Soy sauce
Sesame oil
Potato starch
Sugar
Grated ginger
Rice paper
Shredded cabbage (for the base)
Kimchi (for topping)
⚜️ How to Make ⚜️
① While waiting for the ground meat to thaw naturally…
Step 1: Drain the tofu

Step 2: Finely chop the onion
(I used a food processor)

Step 3: Cut the rice paper
(Experimented with ½ and ¼ sizes)

Step 4: Shred the cabbage
Left: neatly sliced
Right: roughly chopped (core part)
Both will be used❣️

Arrange the cabbage on a heatproof plate:
Neatly sliced ones around the edge
Roughly chopped ones in the center
(I’ll add kimchi there later)

Step 5: Make the Anchovy Cream Soy Sauce

No measurements needed — just mix:
Soy sauce (I used mentsuyu)
Sugar (I used raw cane sugar)
Cream (I used soy milk)
Anchovy

Step 6:
Still had some time left, so I did the dishes 🧴🧽
and took a coffee break ☕
② Once the meat has thawed, mix everything together

Filling is ready ✅

③ Since it’s quite soft, use a scooper to portion it out
(You’ll get about 9 jumbo shumai)

④ Arrange them on top of the cabbage (it’s packed full!)

Cover with moistened rice paper (I used ¼ size).

And from the outside →

Used up all the leftover rice paper too!

⑤ Stick in a few toothpicks and cover with microwave-safe plastic wrap

Then add another layer of wrap to seal any gaps.

⑥ Microwave for 15 minutes
Then place kimchi in the center.

Remove the toothpicks carefully.

(Accidentally forgot to take a photo with the kimchi 😅)
🎉 Plate and serve — it’s done! 🎊
