第1960話　Sunoは曲の構造を理解しているのか？──Lyrics固定・Structure変化による楽曲展開実験

実験テーマ

前回の実験では、

「Sunoは何を歌っているのか？」

をテーマに、

• 意味（Meaning）

• 音韻（Phonetic）

• 音節構造（Syllable Structure）

• リズム（Rhythm）

を分離し、Lyricsが単なる文章ではなく、複数の音楽情報として処理されている可能性を検証した。

その結果、

同じ意味でも音の響きが変化すると歌唱表現が変わる

人工言語でも歌唱として成立する

母音のみでは別の表現になる

音節構造によって曲のメリハリが変化する

という傾向が確認された。

そこで今回はさらに一歩進め、

「SunoはLyricsとは別に、曲の構造情報（Structure）をどの程度利用しているのか？」

をテーマに実験を行った。

実験条件

今回固定したもの：

Style

など、全パターン共通。

若干ではあるが、

• 空間的な広がり

が強く感じられた。

Structure指定が、展開の方向性に影響した可能性がある。

最初から強い展開を与える

• 冒頭印象

最初にサビを配置する構成。

結果：

通常の王道的な曲展開になった。

この結果から、

Style欄内の「順序指定」は、Sunoにとって強制力が弱い可能性がある。

目的：
反復情報の影響を見る

メロディの反復感が強く感じられた。

「繰り返し」という情報は、Sunoにとって比較的理解されやすい可能性がある。

結果：

明確な変化とは言い切れないが、若干影響しているようにも感じられた。

ただし、Style内の抽象的なStructure指定だけでは完全な制御は難しい可能性がある。

Pattern7：No Structure

Structure指定なし。

Lyricsのみ入力。

結果：

特別な展開感は少なく、自然生成された一般的な構成となった。

実験結果まとめ

今回の結果では、

Structure指定は楽曲生成に影響するが、

完全な曲構成制御ではなく、展開方向を補助する情報として働いている可能性

が見えてきた。

特に、

• Cinematic

• Progressive

• Repetition

のような音楽概念を含むStructureは反映されやすかった。

一方、

• Chorus First

• 細かい順序指定

のような配置指示は、影響が限定的だった。

現時点での仮説

現在までのSuno実験から、

Sunoは生成時に、

Lyrics

• 意味

• 音韻

• 音節

• リズム

Style

• ジャンル

• 音色

• 演奏表現

• 空間表現

Structure

• 展開方向

• 曲の時間的流れ

• 反復感

という複数情報を統合している可能性がある。

ただし、Structureは設計図というより、

楽曲の方向性を示す補助情報

に近いと考えられる。

統合曲

今回の実験結果を反映し、統合曲のテーマは、

"The Architecture of Sound"

とした。

意味、音、リズム、構造、時間。

それぞれ別々の要素が組み合わさり、最終的に一つの音楽になる。

AI音楽生成において重要なのは、

「何を書くか」

だけではなく、

「どのような構造で存在させるか」

なのかもしれない。

今回の結論

今回の実験では、

• Lyrics固定でもStructure変更によって一部変化が見られた

• Cinematic系Structureは展開表現に影響した可能性がある

• 反復指定はメロディ感に影響する可能性がある

• 曲順指定は比較的影響が弱かった

という結果になった。

Sunoは単純に歌詞を音楽化しているのではなく、

意味・音・リズム・構造・時間情報を統合しながら楽曲を生成している可能性がある。

次回はさらに、

「Lyrics内の[Verse][Chorus]などのタグ構造自体が、Style内Structureより強い影響を持つのか？」

を検証していきたい。
