日本の神話や古文書の中から、静かに読み解いていこうと思います。
How did the world begin?
I would like to quietly explore this fundamental question
through Japanese myths and ancient texts.
本シリーズでは、多様な世界観や思考の領域をゆるやかに結びつけながら、
『古事記』の冒頭を中心に、AIとの対話を通して
「存在が立ち上がるための条件が、どの順で設定されているのか」
を追っていきます。
In this series, I gently weave together diverse worldviews and fields of thought.
Focusing on the opening of the Kojiki, and through dialogue with AI,
I trace the order in which the conditions for existence are set.

世界が「起動」するためのOS
Chapter 2 (Preparation):
The OS That Allows the World to “Boot”
古事記の神々が司る「結び（むすひ）」の世界へ深く潜る前に、
ここで一度、視点を少し引いてみたいと思います。
Before diving deeply into the world of Musubi—the connective force governed by the gods—
let us take a step back.
私たちが生きるこの世界は、
いきなり完成された形で現れたわけではありません。
ある条件が、ある順序で設定されることによって、
段階的に立ち上がってきたと考えることができます。
The world we live in did not appear fully formed all at once.
It can be understood as having arisen step by step,
as certain conditions were set in a specific order.
この章は、その「起動の順序」を、
現代の哲学やサイエンスという鏡を通して
確認するための準備編です。
This chapter serves as a preparation,
using modern philosophy and science as mirrors
to examine that order of initialization.
1. 「何も無い」から「在る」へのスイッチ
The Switch from “Nothing” to “Being”
『古事記』の冒頭には、
最初に「何も無い」世界があり、
そこに一本の柱（座標軸）が立ち、
そこから世界が**「成った」**と記されています。
At the beginning of the Kojiki,
there is first a world of “nothing.”
Then a single pillar—a coordinate axis—stands,
and from that moment, the world “becomes.”
これは、何かが作られたというより、
存在が成立するための最初の条件が設定された瞬間
と読むことができます。
This is less about something being created,
and more about the first condition for existence being set.
第1回で触れた天之御中主神は、
この最初の条件――
「中心が定まる」という設定そのものを象徴していました。
Amenominakanushi, discussed in the first installment,
symbolizes this very first condition:
the establishment of a center.
人として考えてみても同じです。
過去という点と、未来という点を言語化し、
その二点を結んだとき、
「今ここ」に立つ自分の中に一本の軸が生まれます。
The same applies to us as human beings.
When we articulate our past and our future as two points,
and connect them,
an axis emerges within our present self.
この軸が立つことで、
次の条件が設定される準備が整います。
Only then is the ground prepared
for the next condition to be established.
2. 哲学とサイエンスが向き合った「起動の矛盾」
The “Startup Paradox” in Philosophy and Science
次に登場する高御産巣日神からは、
存在と存在を結びつける
「むすひ（関係性）」の力が動き出します。
With the appearance of Takamimusubi,
the force of Musubi—connection—begins to operate.
なぜ「結び」が必要なのか。
それは、中心が定まっただけでは、
世界はまだ動き出さないからです。
Why is “connection” necessary?
Because defining a center alone is not enough
to set the world in motion.
この問いは、後の時代の哲学やサイエンスも
繰り返し向き合ってきました。
This question was repeatedly faced
by later philosophy and science as well.
デカルトは、「我思う、ゆえに我あり」と述べ、
思考という軸を存在の出発点に据えました。
コンピュータサイエンスは、
システムが自ら立ち上がるための
ブートストラップという仕組みを見出しました。
Descartes placed the axis of thought
at the starting point of existence.
Computer science identified bootstrapping
as the mechanism that allows systems to start themselves.
これらはすべて、
「次の条件を、どうやって起動させるか」
という同じ問題への応答だと読むことができます。
All of these can be read as responses
to the same problem:
how to activate the next condition.
3. 神話は「生体OS」の仕様を読み解く試み
Myth as an Inquiry into the “Living OS”
ロボット工学が人間の身体を研究し、
その仕組みを後追いで再現しようとするように、
哲学やサイエンスもまた、
すでに働いている「生体の仕組み」を
言語化してきた営みだと言えるでしょう。
Just as robotics studies the human body to replicate its functions,
philosophy and science can be seen as attempts
to verbalize systems that are already at work.
私たちの思考（言語）の手前には、
身体感覚や直感といった、
より根源的な認識の層があります。
Before thought and language,
there exist more fundamental layers of perception:
bodily sensation and intuition.
すでに完成され、
しかしまだ十分に言語化されていない
神話の世界を、
現代の視点で読み替えること。
それは、
存在が立ち上がるための条件を、
あとから推理していく
探偵のような作業なのかもしれません。
Reinterpreting mythology—already complete,
yet not fully verbalized—through modern perspectives
may be like a detective’s work:
deducing the conditions that allow existence to arise.
最初の一柱が「在り方」だとすれば、
次に現れる神々は、
世界が関係を結び、自走するための
OS設定なのではないか。
If the first deity represents a “mode of being,”
then the deities that follow
may represent the OS settings
that allow the world to connect and run on its own.
私は、そう推理しています。
This is the conclusion I have arrived at—for now.
