Situation in Ukraine
It has been 848 days since Russia invaded Kyiv.
First,
a general matter.
According to the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces,
Russian losses were 1,170 soldiers
3 tanks
18 armored fighting vehicles
45 guns
1 multiple rocket launcher
2 air defense systems
39 drones
1 cruise missile
62 other vehicles.
The entire front reported 113 ground battles in one day.
The Russians are concentrating some of their infantry strength in an attempt to advance as far as possible before the Western armored vehicles and F16s arrive.
And the ratio of the number of losses of Ukrainian equipment to Russian losses,
which can be visually confirmed,
is 1 to 4.3,
the same as yesterday,
compared to the number of losses on the Ukrainian side.
Losses on the Russian side are mostly tanks,
infantry fighting vehicles,
military trucks,
and civilian vans; conversely,
there is no particular trend on the Ukrainian side.
Now,
here is the war situation in each region.
We will focus on the areas where the war situation has changed.
You can follow the changes with the date if you use the full screen view on the big screen.
Northeast,
toward Harkiv
This section reports on the situation in the Halkiu area,
where Russian troops crossed the border on May 10 and launched a military invasion.
The weather in Harkiv is sunny.
Minimum temperature 19 degrees Celsius,
maximum 30 degrees Celsius.
Thunderstorms are forecast for today.
The weather will be windy,
which may affect the operation.
Russian troops have made six attacks in this sector.
According to Forbes,
Russian forces in this sector are increasingly using infantry attacks,
as they have been instructed to conserve and refrain from using armored vehicles.
Vovtyansk,
in particular,
has become a meat-grinder for Russian soldiers,
Forbes reports.
Liptsi area
According to the Ukrainian General Staff,
the Russians attacked Liptsy,
but the attack was repulsed by Ukrainian forces.
Conversely,
Ukrainian military field commanders reported that Ukrainian forces are conducting mop-up operations in Hlyboke and Lukyantsi,
and that the results will be known in the next few days,
but so far there is no information that would affect the battle map.
Vovtyansk
Russian troops are struggling in this sector.
1st.
In Staritsa,
according to the video with location data,
the Ukrainian army has recaptured some areas in a recapture operation.
The video shows the 2nd Battalion of the 101st General Staff Defense Company of the Ukrainian Armed Forces conducting a recapture operation in the area shown on the map.
The battle map has been updated to show the area retaken by Ukrainian forces from the disputed territory.
2nd.
There is no change in the situation in Vovtyansk,
but it appears that Ukrainian forces are conducting a new siege operation.
Ukrainian military spokesman Popov reported that dozens of new Russian soldiers are besieged in the city.
It is not clear at this time whether this refers to the aggregates factory or another location.
3rd.
In Tyche,
a well-known Russian military blogger reported that "the Ukrainian army conducted a successful recapture operation.
According to the Russian view,
"the Russians attacked Tyche and captured the settlement,
after which the Ukrainians counterattacked and retook the settlement.
On the other hand,
information close to the Ukrainian side also confirms that Russian troops have attacked Tikhe and are closing the gap between the two sides.
Northeast: Luhansk Oblast
East,
toward ChasivYar
The following is an update on the situation in the area from Kupyansk to ChasivYar.
In this area,
the Russians attacked 12 times in Kupyansk,
13 times along the Svatbekremina line,
13 times around Sibersk,
6 times around ChasivYar,
and several times around Mayorsk.
Svatove-Kreminna line.
Although there is no information affecting the battle map in this sector,
the Russians have destroyed the Oskir River bridge west of Borova with air strikes,
and according to Borodin,
spokesman for the 3rd Assault Brigade of the newly reassigned Ukrainian Army in this sector,
"The Russians have concentrated their forces in Svatovye,
a strategic point 20 km from the front line They have launched a 24-hour infantry assault on Borova,
20 kilometers from the front line,
and are constantly replenishing their ranks. The situation is grim," the report said.
The ChasivYar sector
In this sector,
the Russians resumed their attack.
1st.
In Kalinivka,
according to video footage with location information,
Russian forces attacked the center of the settlement and were repulsed,
losing three MTLB armored fighting vehicles near the center of the settlement,
as indicated on the map.
However,
one of the BMP infantry fighting vehicles made it through the settlement to the canal,
where it was repulsed by Ukrainian forces.
What you are seeing is a view of the location shown on the map.
The battle map has been updated to show the Russian forces occupying the area up to the center of the settlement,
and the disputed area extended to just before the canal.
2nd.
In the Canal,
the Russians are attacking,
but the Ukrainians are also defending,
and the Russians are still unable to cross the central street.
3rd.
In Klishchiivka,
the Russian attack was repulsed by the Ukrainian army and there is no change in the battle map,
but a Russian soldier who was hospitalized and had been away from the front for some time was wounded again in Klishchiivka and shared his experience.
This soldier,
who was wounded last December and miraculously survived an attack by four suicide drones and eight bomb drops in the first ground battle after his return,
talked about the change in tactics over the past six months,
saying that "the Ukrainian army now flies an incredible number of drones to attack us."
4th.
I reported in a video the day before yesterday that the Ukrainian army had captured the first Russian turtle tank,
and when we examined the turtle tank,
we found a number of things.
First of all,
we found that the tank gun was unusable and it was used as an armored troop carrier.
Also,
when we tried to maneuver it,
we found that the visibility was extremely poor,
and in the evening the Russians seemed to have lost their way,
and a Russian soldier asked a Ukrainian soldier he saw on the side of the road,
"Which direction is Klishchiivka?" This was the beginning of the capture of the aircraft.
Southeast Donetsk Oblast.
The following is an update on the war situation in the areas of Avdiivka,
Marinka,
and Velikanovosilka.
Avdiivka
According to the Ukrainian General Staff,
17 attacks were repulsed and three were followed by ground battles.
Ukrainian forces are likely to slowly retreat to the main defensive line shown on the map as they chip away at Russian forces,
but at the current pace of Russian attacks,
it will take about three more months to reach that point.
1st.
There are unconfirmed reports that Russian forces are attacking toward Kalinove and that fighting is taking place in Ukrainian military positions.
The battle map has been updated to include an expansion of the disputed territory.
Second.
In Novo Oleksandrivka,
video footage with location information indicates that the Russian assault continues,
and Russian troops are advancing in small groups,
crossing from house to house.
Ukrainian forces are responding with mortars,
but do not seem to be able to repel them.
What you are seeing is the 111th Mechanized Brigade of the Ukrainian Army,
with Russian soldiers operating in the locations indicated on the map.
The battle map has been updated to show the Russian troops as advancing to this location.
3rd.
In Sokir,
the attack was led by units of the 433rd Motorized Rifle Brigade of the Russian Armed Forces in combination with well-equipped units and assaults,
resulting in heavy ground fighting in the settlement,
but Ukrainian forces defended and there was no information affecting the battle map on this day.
4th.
In Novoselivka Persia,
Russian forces conducted airstrikes on Mezove in the rear and drone strikes in the settlement to check Ukrainian troop movements.
The Russians are also using a number of reconnaissance drones to locate and identify Ukrainian drone launch sites.
What you are seeing is the Russian side,
where the Ukrainian drone has landed,
the soldiers have retrieved it,
and are setting up the next drone.
Other Russian military strikes have so far been unsuccessful,
but the Ukrainian General Staff is alarmed that the Russians are increasing their attacks in this direction.
Marinka area
The Russians made three attacks in this area.
In the south of Heoryivka,
according to the video with location information,
the Russians attacked with a convoy of vehicles and were repulsed with the loss of one Turtle tank,
one T72,
and one golf cart.
What you are seeing is the Ukrainian side and the location shown on the map.
The battle map remains unchanged.
In the direction of Velikanovoshlyka
As reported in yesterday's video,
the Russians made two attacks on Urozyne after numerous rocket attacks,
but the attacks were unsuccessful and the battle map remained unchanged.
rear areas.
There are reports of an explosion with unknown details in Luhansk,
as well as a large drone strike at several locations in Krasnodar,
including a large explosion heard at the Afip oil refinery.
The video also shows the night sky brightening and a delayed explosion can be heard.
South,
Zaporizhia Province
South,
province of Kherson.
In this direction,
the Russians made two attacks on Maratkumatica,
which also failed.
According to social networking sites reporting the situation on the Russian military front,
Russian troops in this area have run out of fuel and gasoline has been rationed,
leading to growing discontent with the "oil-rich country.
This is a brief report with selected news about the situation in Ukraine.

1st.
According to Finnish intelligence,
Russia has drastically reduced the number of personnel and equipment at a base on the Finnish border and announced that 80% of Russian troops are gone.
A comparison of satellite images shows that the military equipment and parked cars around the base have also been significantly reduced.
While Russia has increased its confrontational stance with NATO and is threatening World War III,
an anonymous representative of Finnish intelligence said,
"Russia has scraped together personnel and equipment from all over the country except Moscow,
leaving only instructors and new recruits.
They have left only outdated equipment," suggesting that they are transferring their forces to Ukraine.
Second.
As we reported in a recent video,
we have received the alarming life of the Islamist prisoners who escaped from the Rostovnadnou detention center on June 16 and took two detention center employees hostage.
According to the Telegram channel,
which reports on the situation in Russia,
the prisoners bought a saw from a guard for 2.5 million rubles in order to cut the bars of their cell.
According to the information,
prisoners could buy almost anything in prison from the guards as long as they paid for it,
including cell phones,
knives,
alcohol,
watches,
and of course,
they could watch their favorite movies in their cells.
Russian authorities have reportedly identified all of the staff members who provided favors to the prisoners.
3rd.
After the U.S. sanctions against the Moscow Exchange,
the ruble began to rise abnormally.
The exchange rate between the yuan and the ruble has changed rapidly since the sanctions,
appreciating by about 10%,
the strongest appreciation of the ruble since last May.
Professor Kogan of the Moscow Higher School of Economics analyzed that "many Russians are giving up their yuan and holding it in rubles,
fearing that the yuan,
like the dollar and euro,
will be suspended from trading.
As China reduces its trade with Russia,
it is rumored that trading of the Chinese yuan will also be suspended on the Moscow Exchange for fear of a second round of U.S. sanctions.
In addition,
exports from Russia have fallen by $13 billion compared to last year due to a series of sanctions,
and exporters are reportedly suffering a double and triple blow as the 1 yuan has further declined from 13 rubles to 11 rubles amid a plunge in stock prices on the Moscow stock exchange.
As for the future,
according to a BCS economist,
"It will be up to the central bank,
but the turmoil will continue for some time."
That's all for today.
