いったい、何ということだろう。
梅雨の終わりはまだ見えないというのに、この圧倒的な暑さが降り注いでいる。
夏が、何の前触れもなく、いっきに駆け込んできたのだろうか。
いつもの見慣れた近所の散歩道。
満ちる湿気と、烈しい熱気。
その濃密な空気に、思わず眩暈（めまい）を覚え、倒れてしまいそうだ。

Has summer rushed in all at once, dynamic and unannounced?
On my usual walk through the neighborhood, the air is thick with moisture and an intense warmth, heavy enough to steal my breath away.
