長年憧れていた万平ホテルに宿泊することができました。昼食では何度か訪れたことはありましたが、宿泊初めてでした。改装工事のため、なかなか訪れる機会がありませんでした。そして今、ようやく…。かつてジョン・レノンのような著名人がこの館に宿泊してたことから、歴史の静かな重み、深い文化への思い、そして大切に守られてきた誇りを感じました。
At last, I stayed at the Manpei Hotel I had long admired.
I had visited several times for lunch, but this was my first night there.
Renovations had come and gone, and somehow the moment never arrived—until now.
Knowing that figures like John Lennon once rested within these walls,
I felt the quiet weight of history,
a deep sense of culture,
and a pride carefully preserved in the air.
