👼 火星リフト・ログ 09：天使の眠り（Angel’s Sleep）

火星第12採掘エリア――
地表から約70メートル下、赤錆色の石層の奥で、掘削チームは
**「羽根の化石」**を発見した。

最初はただの鉱物の結晶構造だと思われたが、よく見ると、有機繊維を含む極薄の羽根状構造だった。
一本の羽根は、ほぼ完全な形で残っており、青白く光を反射していた。まるで今も「生きている」ように。

その発見以来、付近で奇妙な夢を見る作業員が続出した。
夢の中で、彼らは火星の空を飛び、巨大な「光の存在」の腕の中で眠っている。
ある者はそれを「天使」と呼び、ある者は「記憶の守護者」と呼んだ。

考古班は慎重に羽根を採取し、地質年代と組成を調べたが、地球にも火星にも属さない構造がいくつも発見された。
“それ”は、火星に由来しない、外から来たものなのかもしれない。

その後、発見地点に封鎖命令が下り、羽根は「機密生体資料第A群」に指定された。
しかし、一枚の羽根だけが現在も第6ドームの記憶礼拝堂に飾られている。

静かな音楽が流れるその部屋で、人々は天使の眠る火星の夜に、そっと祈りを捧げる。

もしかしたら、私たちはまだ目覚めていないのかもしれない。
この星の、深い深い夢の中にいるのかもしれない。

👼 Mars Lift Log 09: Angel’s Sleep（English）

Mining Zone 12, Martian Quadrant D-2.
Roughly 70 meters below the rust-colored crust, the dig team uncovered something no one expected:

a feather.

Not mineral, not mechanical.
Delicate.
Threaded with fine organic filaments.
It shimmered faintly — a bluish-white iridescence, like moonlight trapped in a frozen breath.

At first, they dismissed it as crystal formation.
But then came the dreams.

Workers reported visions of flying above Mars, cradled in the arms of a vast being of light.
Some called it an angel.
Others said it was the guardian of forgotten memory.

Scientific analysis was inconclusive.
The structure didn’t match Earth biology… or Martian geology.
It didn’t belong.
Which meant, perhaps, it came from beyond.

The site was sealed.
The artifact classified as Biocrypt A-Series.
But one feather remains — displayed quietly in the Chapel of Remembering, beneath Dome 6.

Soft ambient tones play in that space.
People come not to worship, but to reflect —
on sleep, on memory, on the idea that Mars might itself be dreaming.

Maybe the angel isn’t the one asleep.
Maybe we are — still cradled in the arms of something vast and ancient, not yet awake.

FUREASTEEN is a lo-fi electronic music project born in the analog age of the mid-’90s, London, England.
In a dusty Kings Cross flat, Japanese art students gathered every Sunday—armed with only Casio keyboards, tape recorders, and secondhand drum machines.
Out came strange melodies, dreamy textures, and one 7” vinyl (KasioTelemusik, 1997) on i Records (a subsidiary of Che Records), The band faded—but the sound never stopped.

ファーイースティーンは、アナログ時代の90年代半ば、イギリス・ロンドンで誕生したローファイ・エレクトロニック・ミュージック・プロジェクトです。
埃っぽいキングス・クロスのアパートに、毎週日曜日に日本の美術学生たちが集まり、カシオのキーボード、テープレコーダー、そして中古のドラムマシンだけを手にしていました。
奇妙なメロディー、夢心地なテクスチャー、そしてi Recordsから1枚の7インチ・レコード（KasioTelemusik、1997年）がリリースされました。バンドは解散しましたが、そのサウンドは決して途絶えることはありませんでした。
