Hospital Diary 8 – A Small Miracle on the Morning of My Discharge – June 27 (Saturday) 2026 R8
Today is the day I leave the hospital.
As I finished packing, I closed the sliding door to my room.
Then I suddenly realized something.
Without thinking, I had closed the door with my left hand—the one that had just been operated on.
I stopped and thought,
“Wait… I just used my left hand.”
That was the moment I truly felt that my broken bone had been repaired.
I still have pain.
My arm still cannot move normally.
There is still a long road of rehabilitation ahead.
But that small, natural movement meant everything to me.
Right now, I am writing this in the hospital lounge, the only place with Wi-Fi.
Soon I will return to my room, finish getting dressed, and leave the hospital.
My stay here felt surprisingly short.
Today marks the beginning of a new chapter in my recovery.
