私も長く、
飲食やラーメンのプロデューサーをやっていると、
必ず聞かれる質問があります。
「毎日ラーメン食べるんですか？」
毎日食べるわけないでしょ。
病気になりますよ（笑）
——と、私はだいたいそう答えます。
そして、もう一つよく聞かれるのがこれ。
「高松さんは、どこのラーメンが好きですか？」
「どこのラーメンがおすすめですか？」
でも私は、
そもそもランキングが好きじゃありません。
おすすめも、人によって違う。
味覚も、気分も、体調も違う。
だから「これが一番」「ここが正解」みたいな話はしません。
もちろん、
好きなラーメン屋さんはありますよ。
一軒でも、二軒でもない。
でもそれを
「同じ系統か？」と言われると、これも違う。
濃厚系もあれば、あっさり系もある。
屋台系もあれば、国道系もある。
久留米ラーメンだけでも、種類は山ほどある。
だからといって、
そこしか行かないわけじゃない。
たぶん、
久留米の人が言う「ラーメンが好き」というのは、
一軒の話じゃないんだと思う。
自分の中に
5軒くらい「好きな店」があって、
その日の気分や体調で、
ぐるぐる回っている。
そんな感覚じゃないかな、と。
ラーメンって、
女性の好みと一緒じゃないですか？（笑）
思い出してみてください。
今まで、
同じタイプの男性や女性とばかり
付き合ってきましたか？
たぶん、
全部同じタイプって人の方が少ないと思う。
基本的な好みはある。
でも、それは絶対条件じゃない。
トータルで見て、
総合判断。
つまり、
「どういうタイプが好きか」じゃなくて、
好きになった人がタイプなんですよね。
ラーメンも、同じ。
別に一つだけを
好きになる必要なんてない。
……いや、
彼女を何人も作れって話じゃないですよ？（笑）
好みは、人それぞれ。
そして、
好きになるラーメンは一つじゃない。
それでいいんじゃない？😉

– You don’t have to love just one –

Since I’ve spent many years working in the food industry and producing ramen-related projects, there are questions I get asked all the time.
“Do you eat ramen every day?”
Of course not.
I’d get sick if I did (laugh).
That’s usually how I answer.
And then there’s another question that comes up just as often.
“Which ramen do you like, Takamatsu-san?”
“Which ramen do you recommend?”
But the truth is, I’ve never been a fan of rankings.
What’s “recommended” depends on the person.
Taste is different. Mood is different. Even physical condition is different.
So I don’t really say things like, “This is the best,” or “This is the right answer.”
Of course, I do have favorite ramen shops.
Not just one or two, either.
But if you ask whether they’re all the same style, the answer is no.
Some are rich and heavy.
Some are light and simple.
Some feel like street-stall ramen.
Others are the classic roadside type.
Even within Kurume ramen alone, there are so many variations.
And it’s not like I only go to certain places.
I think when people in Kurume say, “I love ramen,”
they’re not talking about just one shop.
Inside their head, they probably have five favorite places,
and depending on their mood or condition that day,
they rotate between them.
That’s the feeling, I think.
Ramen is kind of like personal taste in relationships (laugh).
Think about it.
Have you always dated the exact same type of person?
Most people haven’t.
You might have a general preference,
but it’s not an absolute rule.
In the end, it’s a total impression.
A kind of overall judgment.
It’s not about “what type you like.”
It’s that the person you end up liking becomes your type.
Ramen is the same.
You don’t have to love just one.
…And no, I’m not saying you should have multiple girlfriends (laugh).
Taste is personal.
And the ramen you come to love isn’t just one.
And that’s perfectly fine, isn’t it? 😉
