The countdown begins: one more week to go until the Grand Finale of Expo Osaka 2025!

Through my work as a #translator , I had some contact with several European pavilions, which made me all the more eager to visit Expo Osaka 2025.

Unfortunately, I haven’t had the chance to fulfil that aspiration.
At the very least, I can ease my longing for Expo Osaka 2025 by savouring the souvenirs a colleague brought back to the office (Osaka Okoshi, Kobe Fugetsudo Petites Gaufres .. delicious).

I admit that #MyakuMyaku, the Expo’s mascot, struck me as kind of creepy at first. But after months of wanting to see him (or her?), I’ve come to find it oddly charming.

If the right #interpreting job at the Expo had come along, I would’ve been ready to fly over there at my own expense — my home visit is long overdue anyway. Sadly, no luck so far.
