Wow, wow, wow!! Such a cool game, such a cool story. There are lots of things that I've probably missed, but I felt a lot from what I was able to understand. I really cried on that last day. I felt that the protagonist had a very valuable life, but full of regrets.
Vo-Mit is an interesting character. You did a great job drawing her to be so cute and so threatening. I'm very curious about what she's doing. Is everyone else fiction to her? So interesting!
Thank you for reminding us all to live with our regrets and live as hard as we can.
I'm excited to see what else you've made and what you'll do next.
Again, likely you have seen this already in somewhere else, and I’m sorry if I’m late, just having numerous terrible anxieties lately.
Amazingly eccentric person prologue. It’s really a wonderful experience. Really love the kind of y2k/vaporwave aesthetics of the game, and I guess a wonderfully sad tale. Interesting to see how it goes. I guess Vo-Mit will keep looking for eccentric human beings.
I loved it. Such a pure game, in a sea of despair online, I find this little gem that reminds me that I can’t think about the past. Because I’ll be alive.
Despite its translation issues, its sometimes on the nose and over-sincere theming, and its intimacy to a heart distant from mine, I was happy to give you a chance.
(potential spoilers ahead for the prologue) I have never lived in a town like that, nor a place like that . I live in a country I am blessed to have been born in, and I'm the one who never changes, the city always does. I'm a man who has never loved a woman, truly a distant heart. Despite that, I had soursop for the first time only a few days ago. It was very tasty, one of my new favourite fruits. Thank you for the chance you gave my heart, to feel a little of what you have felt. Grins and tears are worth plenty more than some slight discontents. The usage of the frame was very cute, and I appreciated the way you utilized the medium of text in motion (speed, size, movement). There are so many wonderful choices, like everything about Vo-Mit's text, the "come find me" scene, and the chess queen text explosion put a grin on my face. I cried more when the main character smoked, or when they talked about Mytosis's scripts (and when they wanted to be an actress, oh my...) than the outro. Perhaps the little moments move me more than the big ones, no matter how well executed. There is so much more to compliment, but that is alright. There will be others who come with compliments for a work like this, I'm sure.
I don't like nostalgia. And vaporwave never did interest me. But I don't want to return to my immortality. These sorts of things don't matter in the face of sincerity. I do cringe back a little from just how sincere it is, but that is alright. You were brave for releasing something so personal. And I appreciate even the decisions that are too obvious or over-sincere. You have yet another person waiting for more of everydayness in me :).
Beautiful, funny, sincere, and most importantly hopeful in the face of despair. You can't think about the past. You will be alive.
Nouzi, you always nail your presentation, and every time you put out something new, you always improve. I will always remember the first time you messaged me and asked to collaborate on your first game. You were so excited, and you continue to be as time passes. Every release since then shows how talented and sincere you really are. Don't change ever.
Honestly, I teared up. It's such a beautiful prologue that leaves you wanting more after every single interaction, and the art style is incredibly unique and distinct. I absolutely can't wait to see where the story goes from here! 10/10
