Honest question...
I have a cousin, who is a vet and a huge supporter of the BSL garbage and I am trying to help educate her and change her opinion and view on pit bulls. Personally, I am against BSL and the like. Anyway. My cousin has come up with the crap that pit bulls are highly prey driven and tenacious. My rebuttal was: a lot of breeds are highly prey driven, especially the Terriers, some Toys, Hunting, Sporting and some Working dog breeds and not all pit bulls are that way. They have to be trained to redirect and/or ignore their drives. And tenacity-well that trait belongs to certain dogs of different breeds and has to be worked with. My question is this: was my rebuttal true and if not, what parts weren't true? I am trying to learn more about Pit Bulls because I hope to own one-one day.
