Itunes ficlet meme

1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Turn on your music player and put it on random/shuffle.
3. Write a drabble related to each song that plays. You only have the time frame of the song to finish the drabble; you start when the song starts, and stop when it’s over. No lingering afterwards!
4. Do ten of these, then post them.

None are betaed, and not really drabbley because I'm sure non are exactly 100 words...

Your Eyes – Rent

Kara couldn't believe it – in the brig again and just like that he walked into her life. He was here, Apollo was here. He pulled her into a hug. Kara Felt numb, like she couldn't quite breathe as he held her, she looked up into his face and her breath caught. She never could get used to looking in his eyes, so much like Zak's it hurt.

Da Doo – Little Shop of horrors

“You will so have a porch swing,” Kara crowed.

Lee shrugs, “I probably would, can't deny it.”

He smiles, “And a garden, I'd like to have a garden.”

Kara rolls her eyes, “Could you be any more domestic?”

Lee grins at her, “Well one of us has got to be.”

What you own – Rent

Earth barren, Lee felt hollow all hoped he'd slowly allowed to grow was brought to this. He stood next to Kara watching her struggle.

“It wasn't like this,” she whispers. “What the frak happened?”

Lee wants to comfort her, he reaches for her hand, it just feels like it isn't enough.

She's your cocaine – Tori Amos

“Donut runs huh?”

And now they were in the back of a raptor pulling at each others clothes a need, an addiction to her skin. He loved running his tongue along her pulse points. He inhaled deeply her smell, standard issue soap, oil and sweat. The way they fitted so well together and the look in her eyes when he made her come for the third time.

Wonderful – wicked

Kara couldn't believe it, she'd flown to Earth and it was beautiful, blue green and lucious, so much water and large continents so much space, she couldn't stop herself from laughing about it. Surveying the planet in a few orbits collecting data before heading back to Galactica.

She had been expecting one hell of a reception, just not in the style that greeted her. She had found earth, she was a frakking hero.

But then Lee was there fighting his way through the crowd and he looked so frakking pleased to see her. It was more like it.

“It's wonderful to have you back,” he whispered in her ear as unselfconsciously he threw his arms around her.

Strange – The Feeling

Lee couldn't believe it drunk as they were that he was with Kara in the desert watching her show him where she and Anders would live, where she was going to build a life. And then when they'd kissed there had been that moment that he knew had seered itself into his brain.

They made love, he'd held her, told her just how much he'd loved her, she hadn't believed him he could tell, so he'd shouted it naked to the night and the wilderness.

It was new and it was strange and for those few precious moments Lee felt he and Kara had a future and that it was all going to be ok.

Hey Hey My My (into the black) Neil Young

Kara jogged the corridors of Galactica, it was a good way to keep fit, this was simple and duty here was simple. But not for much longer, once Galactica was mothballed she had no idea where she wanted to go. Frakking shame that they were turning this ship into a museum.

There was a buzz, Apollo would be coming to the ceremony. It had been a long time, two years, in fact they hadn't seen each other since, since the funeral. Not what she wanted to think about today. She shook her head and picked up the pace running harder, running from the memories that haunted her.

You can have it all – Kaiser chiefs

“I'll tell you what it's going to be like Lieutenant. You keep on giving me lip like that and you'll end up in the brig.”

“Oh really Sir?” answered Starbuck the faintest sneer on her lips.

“You have no respect for your commanding officers.” Lee continues.

“Only the ones that earn it Apollo.”

“And how do you earn Starbuck's respect?” Lee questions, leaning in slightly.

“Well Captain, you keep doing what you're doing with your fingers and it'll make a good start.”

Tear Stained letter Johnny Cash

I thought I knew you, guess I was wrong.

Just letting you know not to expect anything from me in the future, we're done. I levelled with you told you how I felt and you frakking run, to someone who doesn't frakking know you.

Well he can keep you, I don't want to hear from you, don't want to see you, don't even try.

He rereads what he's just written, and takes a swig of scotch. He balls the sheet of paper up and throws it in the bin which is already overflowing with many other attempts. He hears Dee come in and tries not to look guilty.

Let Your Loss be your lesson.

They had become friends, beyond frakking something new for both of them and for once it felt good, felt right.

They were able to fly together like they used to and talk and it all felt better than good, but then there was that mission he'd made her take and even though he'd been there with her seen her end.

He had never felt so alone. There was this sense of complete desolation. It was like loosing Zak over again only worse. When it finally sunk in that he would never see her again, never hear her challenge him, or Tigh never get to play triad only then did he really appreciate what he had lost.
