A24 Screenplay Collection: I Saw the TV Glow
One of our key observations from selling magazines for more than a decade is that they are becoming indistinguishable from books. Take the A24 Screenplay Collection, for example. The cult film company has pumped out a series of 16 screenplays in a very short time, yet it’s unlikely you’ll find one of these interesting hybrids in a regular bookshop. Each volume provides content from the director of the film, the full screenplay, stills chosen by the director, as well as critical essays, poetry and unseen film ephemera. The latest release is Jane Schoenbrun's obscure 2024 film 'I Saw the TV Glow' which includes an introduction by Atom Egoyan, a mixtape by Schoenbrun, essays by film writer Jeanne Thornton and actor/director Eva Victor, storyboard sketches and an excerpt from the film’s fictional TV show The Pink Opaque.

Bath Digital Festival returns! 19 - 21 May
From 19th to 21st May – Bath Digital Festival returns for three days of ideas, knowledge sharing and conversation, bringing together founders, creatives, technologists and curious minds from across the South West.
Curated by techSPARK, the festival has built a reputation for doing things a little differently. Rather than following the traditional conference formula of keynote speeches and a packed agenda, Bath Digital Festival is designed as a platform where ideas collide and conversations unfold naturally.
Each day begins with a breakfast, where morning tech talks, networking and coffee set the tone for the day ahead. These sessions bring innovators and industry leaders together to share practical insights and spark new conversations. The breakfast is followed by the daily interactive showcase, where companies demonstrate new products, test ideas and gather real feedback from the community. It is a chance to see emerging technology up close and meet the people building it.

A return to the Gallagher PREM at The Rec! 18 April
Bath Rugby returns to its domestic competition this weekend after two successful weeks in the Investec Champions Cup.
Running out at The Rec for a third consecutive week, the Blue, Black and White welcome Harlequins to BA2 for Round 13 of the Gallagher PREM. Taking to the pitch, the front row is a complete product of the Bath Rugby Academy, featuring Scott Kirk, Tom Dunn and Vilikesa Sela. Another home-grown pairing sees Ewan Richards come into the second row to join Charlie Ewels. Ted Hill and Guy Pepper take the flanks, with Alfie Barbeary at Number 8. Ben Spence leads from scrum-half, accompanied by Finn Russell in the half-back pairing. This week’s centre partnership combines Max Ojomoh and Ollie Lawrence in the midfield. Completing the back line, Henry Arundell and Joe Cokanasiga take the wings with Santi Carreras at full back. Dan Frost, Francois van Wyk and Thomas du Toit will provide their impact as this week’s replacement front row. Ross Molony, Josh Bayliss and Miles Reid complete the replacement forwards. Tom Carr-Smith and Louie Hennessey complete this week’s matchday 23. The game kicks off at 5.30pm on Saturday 18 April at The Rec.
