Bacon Strip

Bacon Strip

BaconStrip, the big Gay Variety show, has been going since the first Saturday night of November 2005.

The performances are quite different from an average drag show; the audience loved it! Why do you think the shows unorthodox format works so well? Well I think the performers like it because being a themed show it challenges them to come up with something different. One of my first rules, no normal songs you could see someplace else. If you must do a regular song do it in a way that would make it in a new way that the audience has never seen it before. I think the Audience loves it because every month it is something new. The show is completely different. We also serve actually bacon to the audience every month served from hot men and a side of sass. Most everyone loves bacon and fun. I think it’s a great match. My goal is having fun, loving and interesting environment for all. Celebrate Craziness.

The Queer Agenda: Live comedy/dating show

Welcome to The Queer Agenda: a live comedy dating show where flirting becomes a spectator sport.

Hosted by comedians Jaleesa Johnson and Raven McIntosh, this chaotic little experiment combines stand-up, a game show, and a dating show into one very entertaining night.

Each month, a group of brave single queers takes the stage to compete in ridiculous games, answer mildly invasive questions, and attempt to charm both the audience and each other. Along the way, our hosts roast the contestants, stir the pot, and guide the room toward one final matchmaking moment.

Will sparks fly?

Will someone embarrass themselves?

Will the audience accidentally witness true love?

There’s only one way to find out.

Whether you come to watch, laugh, or volunteer as tribute, The Queer Agenda is part comedy show, part dating experiment, and part queer community chaos.

Doors at 7PM

Show at 8PM

Chop Suey | Seattle

Single? Bold? Slightly unhinged?

Sign up to be a contestant and let the room decide your romantic fate.

Because honestly… it’s cheaper than therapy and hotter than Hinge.

Trans (Indie) Music Showcase

Introduction post!
Hello! My name is May and I'm a musician rattling around Seattle. I played a show with my band at chop suey that featured trans bands and we called it the "tran emo showcase!" It was a really great time and lots of queer people turned out!!

I felt inspired and asked Chop Suey if I could start hosting something like this more regularly! And thus the Trans Music Showcase has been born!

Every month I'm going to curate cool bills of bands with trans members in them and we're going to have a lovely afternoon together! I'm hoping for this to be a space of inspiration, safety, and community. I want to give new bands a space to play while showing off some of Seattle's greatest acts! On top of that, 20% of proceeds will go to a local mutual aid or charity organization.

I hope people are as excited as I am for this! The first official show is 02/21/2026. Keep your eyes peeled for the announcement, and have fun!

Safe Space: Drag and Burlesque

We hear you've been feeling very Chinese as of late. Becoming Asian is intimidating, I get it... But have no fear, your favorite sanctuary is here to help! Safe Space makes its grand return to celebrate AANHPI month by exploring the fine line of cultural appreciation vs. appropriation!

Join us at Timbre Room @kremwerk on May 16th for some sickening Asian persuasion! Doors will open at 7pm with the show following at 7:30pm! Admission will be $12 presale or $15 at the door and tickets are available at kremwerk.com right now, so get your tickets before it's too late!

For this show, we have asked a beloved panel of Asian performers to stop Asian hate by showcasing their excellence on stage! Featuring...

The most evil Wasian to come out of California, it's @missclaravoyance ! 🐉

Her pronouns are Kevin/Nguyen, it's @viperfengz ! 🥡

She's so popular, even the CCP is jealous... It's @therowanruthless ! 🧨

But we're not stopping there! These performers will have to judge how well our other half of the cast does on becoming Asian for the night... Featuring...

The 1/16 Japanese sensation, kudasai it's @cister_camero -san! 🍥

Your girlfriend's favorite otaku, it's @tommiexdarling ! 👘

The Habachi Teriyaki of Seattle, it's @issamanofficial ! 👺

Will they pass the test of appreciation and be given the race card to pull for the rest of the night? Will we find that there's more to being Asian than just Anime, Gentrified Matcha, and Ube (not pronounced OOB)? Or will these rice queens succumb to the Oli Londonification... Come out and see what happens!

Psychic Practice Group

Practice in a non-judgmental environment with mutual support. Attending each month is best for development, but come as often as you like.

Each month features different exercises intended to be challenging but accessible to different abilities. Activities range from psychic mediumship to animal communication to energy work.

Folks with some experience, or who are willing to dive right in are welcome. These events are a step up from our prior Workshops and the current Live Online Classes.

💥 Facilitator:

Ray (they/them) is a white, trans masc, disabled teacher-intuitive offering readings and energy work to people, pets, and places professionally since 2016. Coming from a line of rural southern Appalachian sensitives and healers, they’ve walked these realms outside of religious or medical contexts since they were a child. Their work is eclectic, multi-layered, and ever-changing.

💥 Asst. Circle Guide:

Xiomara Lara (any/all) is an Afro-Cuban queer medium from New Jersey who practices intuitive mediumship and development under the guidance of her ancestors, family traditions, and spiritual lineages. She is both a healer and a teacher, bringing grounded experience, cultural roots, and heart-centered intention into every practice space she enters.

Every year, we spotlight incredible local talent, while sprinkling in a few iconic RuPaul’s Drag Race, Dragula,Camp Wannakiki and Drag Latina favorites for a little extra glam. This year, we’re fully leaning into our carnival fantasy because what’s Pride without a little popcorn, corndogs, and camp?

It’s a 3 - day celebration with both indoor and outdoor stages (Sunday we’re bringing it all inside), packed with performances, DJs, and nonstop energy.

And let’s be real, we kept ticket prices cute and affordable, because Pride is for everyone, not just the VIP section.

Ticket Options:

3-Day Pass - $40
Allows access to all three days of our fabulous celebration

Friday Ticket – $20
Kick off the weekend with DJs and live performances on the outdoor stage from 6PM–12AM. Not to mention the party going on inside with MORE DJs and performers taking you all the way until 2AM. (plus AC)

Start outside. End inside. No breaks, just vibes.

Saturday Ticket – $20
Start your day early with a Music Video Sing-A-Long & Watch Party from 4PM–7PM. Then head outside for DJs and live performances on the outdoor stage from 6PM–12AM.

And just when you think it’s over… it’s not. The party boots up again inside from 9PM–2AM with more DJs and performances to keep you going all night long.

Multiple vibes. One ticket. Pace yourself. 😌

Sunday Ticket – $20
Starting at 6PM, grab the mic and live your pop star fantasy with karaoke until 10PM. Then stick around as the night turns all the way up with a hip-hop dance party and pop up drag performances to close out your pride weekend.

Black Butch Blues Anthologies: Writing Workshop

Black Butch Blues Anthologies: Writing Workshop

In honor of Earth Month, Rasheena Fountain leads a listening and writing session grounded in our relationship to the land through the Blues. This gathering is not limited to artists, makers, or writers; Blues is for everybody Black. Therefore, this workshop taps into a traditional art form that lives within us. With this, no formal musical or artistic background is required to take part. The teach in session will begin with a listening experience, followed by contextual framing and guided discussion grounded in blues & environmental scholarship. We will then move through a series of ekphrastic writing exercises, engaging the blues as both form and method. The session will culminate in a collective writing workshop where we are encouraged to share our work. As part of a broader Black sapphic anthology series, the session also offers an analysis of blues lyricism through Black sapphic artists, drawing on the work and influence of Black sapphic ancestors in the blues.
