Questions

What gets imported from Harvest?

Your people (with billable and cost rates and capacity), clients, tasks, projects (with hour, money and monthly budgets), every time entry with its notes and rate, expenses, your past invoices with their lines and status, and estimates. Each entry stays linked to the invoice it was billed on, so nothing gets billed twice. See the import guide.

Does importing change anything in my Harvest account?

No. Sheaf only reads from Harvest using a personal access token you create. The token is used for the import and isn’t stored. You can keep using Harvest while you try Sheaf, and run the import again later to bring over only what’s new.

How much does Sheaf cost?

Nothing during the beta, and you don’t need a card. Every team gets Pro free until paid plans start. After that, Free stays free for one person and Pro is $8 per person per month, with no other fees. You’ll get at least 30 days’ notice by email before you’re charged, and the first 500 teams get their first month of Pro free. Pricing details.

What doesn’t Sheaf do yet?

There are no native mobile or desktop apps (you can install the web app on your phone), no browser extension, no online card payments on invoices, no QuickBooks or Xero sync and no ready-made integrations yet. There is a JSON API with personal tokens if you want to connect something yourself. If one of these is a dealbreaker, email us and we’ll tell you honestly where it is on the list.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. Reports export to CSV, and Settings has a one-click download of everything as JSON: people, clients, projects, tasks, every time entry, expenses, invoices and estimates. There is also an API with personal tokens. The team owner can delete the team and all of its data at any time.

Does Sheaf use AI or tracking cookies?

No. There are no AI features, and the only cookie is the one that keeps you signed in.
