Various researches confirm the claim that "the eyes are the windows to the soul", but I won't go into metacognitive details. Instead, I'll ask you, do you believe in love at first sight? It doesn't matter if your answer is "no", you can shamelessly keep looking.
C H A R A C T E R
This NFT character, The Sightoshi, is a humble tribute to the work of Satoshi Nakamoto created in the spirit of naive primitivism. The Sightoshi character was uncharted territory in the Polygon Blockchain, providing with an exceptional opportunity to bring something completely unique to Polygon. I strove to make the Sightoshi character embody the values of wisdom, playfulness, modernity, primitiveness, and community centrism. And it's also nice to have eye contact in the digital world.
D E S I G N
The character design process was an extensive month journey. Initially, I created a design with a simple color square eye. But I revamped the entire collection, adding more details to the square eye, and incorporated the latest trends to create something truly exceptional that I am immensely proud of. I also kept a definitive color palette in mind throughout the design process, inspired by humans. My goal was to leverage human photographic memory and make Sightoshi instantly recognizable with square eyes that stand out. Every piece of artwork was hard work, an eye for detail, and immense passion for creating something truly unique and remarkable.
T R A I T S
The Sightoshi NFT character design process was conducted with a focus on quality over quantity, ensuring that each hand-crafted character was of high quality. Each trait was intentionally designed to create a unique and memorable character that could stand out in the crowded NFT marketplace. The collection has 4 types of traits: Skin, Eye, Eyebrow, and Additional.
- The skin traits include 12 highly detailed skins, each inspired by humans (and goblins).
- There are 18 eye traits, where unique shape was explored using geometry.
- You can find 9 eyebrow colors.
- Regarding additional, I drew inspiration from recognizable characters or just interesting items. Any NFT containing one of the additional traits is very rare.

My (artistic) name is musæ and I am an independent NFT artist from Central Europe. I identify with naive primitivism and I like the ancient beauty ideal calocagathia (beauty of the body and goodness of the soul). I would briefly describe myself as the one who blows with the wind.
