This game would be GOATED if...
i wasn't spending the whole game grinding crystals. i love the maps, the exploring, the small battles, the bits of lore, the designs, the weapons, its all very cool but after 40 hours in and i have no idea how much is left, frustration is setting in. i doubt accessibility features will ever be added, so it's just gonna waste my time leveling up instead of allowing me to learn the game how i learn so its tedious.

Is there a way to cheese Hunter of Bladers? She seems impossible in the second half, if i even make it that far. what do i need for stats? Seal build? I'm trying to decide how much more time to invest in grinding. is there any place to get more Silica? i'd love to upgrade the Halbard.

i just want to see the rest of the game. every boss has sucked but the rest of the game is 10/10

You dont need to grind for crystal, unless you tried to level up many weapons. What level are you on anyway? Hunter of Bladers can be daunting, but she is easy to parry. For the record, Im not parry master or anything, and I barely use parry, but most of her attack are easy to parry coz the obvious tell, just need to adjust the timing, and be brave. And we use the same same weapon for early/mid (I assume it is Serrated Halberd?) Just play passively if you are not sure, learn her moves, parry, use seal of pilgrim since Im sure its the tankiest main seal (and also 5 slot), use stability, fire defense, physical defense, LP UP for normal seal.

There is also this corrupted two-handed sword that will always knock her down with it's skill, so just dodge, knock down, hit and repeat

I beat my head against her for a bit with the Corrupted Blader Greatsword. I used caster in almost every other "souls-like" game I've played. Tried a spirit build with Holy Ritual in one hand and Holy Embrace in the other, while spam casting Lightening Tornado. Only took a few tries. Even though you are in the air, she can still get ya. Oh ya, you can poison her too, so i threw the poison needles at her while she approached. Took about 6. Every bit helps.

thanks for the feedback! i eventually got her after spending another 6 hours at it over the weekend. But it was pretty depressing. now i'm stuck on the second phase of the next boss. That might be the end of the road for me. Souls are too pro level for me i guess. The game is very cool though and i wish it were more adaptable to where i'm at instead of a one size fits all difficulty. It didn't hurt Stellar Blade or the Jedi games to have easy/normal mode, but i get it. hardcore games for hardcore players. that's not me tho.
