New York has treated Dallas well, but lately, there’s been a lot on his mind.
It’s time to reflect, talk it out, and make some changes for the better.

But there’s more to this visit than meets the eye.

We are now rolling out a new Hotfix to address some of the issues that came up with the 3.9 and 3.9.1 Updates.

The update is now live on Steam, Epic Games Store and PlayStation 5. XBOX and Microsoft Store players will receive the hotfix later today.

• Fixed the in-game store showing incorrect prices for Japanese players.

• Fixed a crash that could occur after saving a loadout.

• Controller players using the legacy control mapping should now be able to lockpick again.

• Fixed a crash that could occur when a player’s throwable is destroyed while they are in custody or offline.

• Fixed a crash that could occur when shooting a Zapper’s Proxy Mine.

• Fixed Team AI not targeting Cloakers who are attacking a downed player.

• Cloakers will no longer kick a player immediately after being revived by Team AI.

• Cloakers can once again be stunned by a melee attack when they are charging at a player, and have a higher chance to be stunned by ranged weapons.

• Zappers and Grenadiers no longer instantly respawn after dying to damage inflicted on their weak points.

• Reduced the spawn rates of Cloakers and Techies.

• Fixed Techies not spawning at all on Normal difficulty.

• Increased the limit of Techies from 1 to 2 on the OVERKILL Difficulty.

Updates may be incompatible with the mods you may have installed. Even seemingly unrelated mods may cause unexpected issues. If you are experiencing any problems with the game; try removing any mods you may have installed and try again.

If you are having issues with an unmodded game you can try to verify the integrity of the game files. In the Steam library; right-click on PAYDAY 3. Select "Properties" from the menu. Under the tab "LOCAL FILES" select "VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES...". The process may take some time to finish.
