The Enigmasaur is no ordinary master of disguise. It doesn't simply imitate other species, it becomes them, blending in so convincingly that even their own kind may be none the wiser.

This week, we're unveiling the Enigmasaur dossier, and as it turns out, changing appearances is only the beginning.
Every creature it mimics has something to offer, and the Enigmasaur has a remarkable way of holding on to what it learns. Even after slipping into an entirely different form, some familiar tricks may still be lurking beneath the surface. A Rex with a scorpion's sting? That's just one of the surprises this shapeshifter might have in store.

Of course, convincing something that can become almost anything to join your tribe is its own unusual challenge.

More and more, I find myself struggling to describe the impossible. Until I saw one of these oversized chameleons steal the shape of a nearby Direwolf, I'm not sure I would have believed such an animal could exist. The creature I'm calling an 'Enigmasaur' didn't just appear to become vulpine in response to the Direwolf... it fully transformed into a wolf, enough to be accepted by others and even hunt with its new pack until it could split off and resume its true form and behavior.

Once you know what to look for, you might be able to tell which of the local fauna is really an Enigmasaur in disguise. And if you can manage to tame one, you'll add a living Swiss Army knife to your stable. Impress your target by showing it that you've tamed one of the same creatures it's currently mimicking. Repeat this process as it cycles through multiple forms, until you demonstrate your goodwill.

Once you teach your Enigmasaur several forms to pull from its morphic memory, it can retain each creature's useful traits regardless of whichever shape it's currently taken. For example, even after it drops the form of a Pulmonoscorpius to become a Rex, its attacks will stun prey as if it still had a stinger. And returning to its own body will give it access to all of those learned abilities at once! Truly a riddle, wrapped in a mystery, inside an enigma…

All donations to Team Wildcard go directly to UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital[ufhealth.org]. The hospital provides expert care across more than 20 pediatric specialties and is home to the UF Health Shands Pediatric ER, the community’s first dedicated children’s emergency department.

Hey Survivors, after careful assessment, we've opted to begin the process of sunsetting a selection of our inactive official servers. Our goal is to ensure that we're always delivering the best experience possible, and official servers exist as a way for the community to play together without having to host their own. When we launch fresh content, typically, we put up more servers than we need in the long term to match the peak in user capacity; over time, these servers become ghost towns as players have dropped off and are waiting for the next major content release.

As part of this process, the servers will be renamed with the “SUNSET” prefix, following the same approach we’ve used in the past. Please note that once renamed, these servers will be removed from the in-game Favorites list, so you’ll need to search for them manually to reconnect.

On [color=#3498db]November 29th[/color], we'll be sunsetting these inactive Island servers, click on Show More to see the updated detailed list.

Conquest, introduced to ARK: Survival Ascended by Snail Games, focuses on large-scale PvP, with increased rates, and other changes listed below. The increased rates will allow tribes to set up and establish themselves quickly and enable them to rebuild after potential losses instead of being wiped completely.

The official Conquest servers are [color=#3498db]open for PC, Xbox and PlayStation[/color].

Big things are in the works for Conquest! The team has started working on a revamp of the mode, and we're turning to the players who know it best to help guide future seasons.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be releasing a series of questionnaires in the Conquest Discord covering what's working, what isn't, and what you'd like to see next. The team will review every response, and your answers will play a direct role in where Conquest goes from here.

Hop into the Discord to catch each questionnaire as it drops, and rally your tribe, because the next era of Conquest starts with you.
