is skate 4 good enough?
ive watched youtubers play skate 3 all ym life. i jumped at the opportunity to play a skate game for the first time. i was kinda disappointed with how boring it was. Is this a thing with the whole skate franchise? is it worth it to emulate skate 3? should i keep playing skate 4?

This is on v0.3, given you've been watching Skate 3 all your life as you say, go play skate 3 and come back to this later.

Edit: I will add, if you just like free skating and are or used to be a skater, play this instead. It has the best skateboarding mechanics ever made.

Why not just play Skate 3 (or Skate 2) instead of watching randoms play it after all these years??

If your options are between being able to play Skate 4 at a whim and setting up an emulator with a bunch of mods for a pirated, unsupported Skate 3, then the answer should be obvious. Once you get used to 4, trust me, you'll get far more out of it than all the previous titles combined.
