Though I consider it to be a sidequest, myself, as the PC market is definitely where this game has always had its market base, Bethesda IS A CONSOLE-BASED COMPANY.

I do not think "4 times" helps because the game engine is already choking on it as it was. Giving it more assets to choke on will not help things.
I think they increase the limit mainly to cram more Creations in.
