Did the developers just bail on this project?
I'm so disappointed. I just found out about this game, absolutely love it but really bothered by the lack of levels and updates.

Then I do a bit of reading and find out they basically disappeared around 2016. What happened? This game could be huge if it was just developed more.

They can't be expecting to support a game indefinitely.

What's your problem exactly? The game felt pretty complete to me when I finished it. There's also some silly (in a positive way) New Game+ if I remember correctly, never came around to play it though.

R-type 3 had six levels, and not nearly as many options/challenges as this game, and that's widely considered among the best shmups ever made. Shmups often have 5-10 levels and are meant to be replayed...

Feels like an old school shooter with story, challenges, more difficulty settings, and difficulty settings to me.

Well, there's still quite a seriuos bug with greyed out bullets still not fixed, as far as I know. I'm not asking for a Jamestown+ port, but they should've at least fixed such glaring bugs =\

Go into game properties and the beta tab. Switch to the Legacy version and bullet colors work fine.

Yes, it is. Literally the only difference is the particle effects work.

they can if they're still selling it, it's advertised to work, so it should work...

yeah i wish they had brought the extended version to steam when they released it for ps4

I bought a game and I got a really great one. I don't know why people expect developers these days to release content forever. The game is pretty great as it was on release. Just make Jamestown 2 please.
