Steam Controller (2015)
Surprisingly Great!

At first, I wasn't sure what to think of the Steam Controller. Honestly, during the first few minutes of trying it out, I was questioning whether I had just wasted my money. But after giving it some time and getting used to it, I’ve grown to really like it!

Pros;
The controller works with almost every single game on Steam. Some games have full controller support, while others don’t. In those cases, it can be a bit tricky — some non-supported games are pretty much unplayable unless you're willing to dive into the configuration settings. If you're the kind of person who enjoys tweaking things, you can actually make just about any game playable with the controller.

It works outside of games aswell — you can use it to browse the desktop, watch YouTube, or surf the web, even without Big Picture Mode. I’m not entirely sure how useful that really is, but it’s definitely cool.

Keep in mind;
Keyboard and mouse are still superior for many games, especially fast-paced or competitive ones. The Steam Controller isn’t a full replacement, but it’s a fun and flexible option — especially if you pair it with a Steam Link or a Steam Machine and hook it up to your TV. Then you can just chill in bed and play games from your couch, which is pretty awesome.

Some games enjoyable with Steam Controller
  • Don´t starve Together / Don´t starve
  • Rocket league
  • Terraria
  • Metal Gear Rising

There are more controller playable games but I don't remember playing any others!

So I would say Steam Controller is kewl. Thanks Volvo for making this. <3
