Plays great on steam deck too which is great

Funny card game :)

To preface this review, R6 is still my most played game on steam, I've made so many memories and had a great time over the years.

That being said, I cannot recommend you buy it or spend any kind of money on it.

There's a lot of discourse about the creative direction and balancing of the game (I personally don't like the futuristic scifi type stuff they've been doing, and I have problems with some of the gameplay direction and balancing choices), but I'm not going to split hairs about that in this review because even if I don't like it it's not necessary bad
That being said, the main problems:

1.) Horribly toxic players: I swear to God, there have been times where I've made a single location callout and my teammates are on mic yelling slurs and telling me to kill myself. Granted every game has toxic players, but within the last few years the playerbase has gotten really awful. Even with reverse TK you'll still find yourself being dead at your teammates hands quite a bit
2.) Ubisoft is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ company
This is actually what drove me to bother with all of this. There are bugs in game and in Ubisoft Connect that have been there for literal years. YEARS.
At the time of writing the servers have been down for about 5 days, no communication from Ubisoft about this. But please, buy our cosmetics
3.) Cheating
Horrible anticheat. Ubisoft made a huge deal about their mousetrap anticheat and how it was going to change the game etc etc
Cheating is almost worse than ever. Blatant walls and aimbot are a common sight in r6 these days

I really used to love this game, but I can't recommend it with the state it's in.

One of the best games I've played in the last ten years. Fantastic, don't even think twice about buying it if you like CRPGs

This is one of those games you play and think about for a long while after you finished it.
It's pretty short at about an hour, maybe even a bit less, but it's definitely worth it, it's a really impactful experience.

If you can absolutely play it in VR.

Night in the Woods is genuinely one of the best games I have ever played.
The characters are realistic and relatable, and the themes and messages in the story are real and hit close to home.

Even at full price it's certainly worth a cop.

It gave me a panic attack.

Clever girl.

This game. This game is honestly on of the greatest experiences I've ever had with any game, and I'm only a fraction of the way through. The writing is so clever, and the characters so wonderfully likeable. Not even to mention the excellent soundtrack Just buy the game. It's only $10
