Friendslop at first look - is actually quite big open world puzzle game with a lot of mechanics, trying to have most puzzles not reuse mechanics. Having to figure out puzzle requiments, ways to solve, ways to communicate - brings out a lot. Definetely must-play for friend groups

Good "pont and click" from developers of There is no Game, so expect weird random things. Lively characters, nice puzzles, gorgeous art style and fine music. Was a very good experience

Only annoying thing - because enviroments are 3D and our interaction is 2D - often it's hard to discern which plane of intyeraction characters stand at the moment. You could throw object at target from one point but can't from other

"small" metroidbrania that stands equal to big adventures like La-Mulana and Animal Well. Very platforming heavy - so some things might be quite difficult if you used only to solve puzzles. Unique take on what it is to have enemies and tools in metroidvania world.

Sadly a disappointment built on 3 problems:
1) Performance is abysmal while graphics (shadows, water) jumps around. I could understand realistic graphics that lags or simple graphics that works well, but not worst of both.
2) Controls are bad, they make solving puzzles slow. You have keyboard and mouse it's not that hard to make normal way to select symbol, people been doing that on controllers
3) There's seems to be only 2 mechanics so far, one for main puzzles and other for observation ones. Once you got the trick - it's just "fill the blank".

The game where you can actually GO FAST while not hindering your ability to see danger coming and not forcing you to memorise level (because new levels are randomly generated)

Multiplayer also exists which works really well for that type of game

A whole puzzle game for a price of demo.

Controls leave a lot to be desired, at least until you get auto-tile pen, but you need to unlock and learn how to use it, but after getting used - it's working wonders. Another thing - if you miss tile to delete with RMB - it deselects tool - making you to unable to delete tile until you pick tool again, that's annoying, I hope that will change.

Last challenge sounds daunting, but slowly chipping it away will bring you to completion

They did it, they made game better than Slay the Spire 1.

On one hand - it's same game but on other hand it has tons of changes in approach, design, content and others. Instead of just graphical upgrade and "modded characters" - it changes how base systems like events and boss relic designed - leading to fresh experience.

And, don't forget - stable and official multiplayer with unique interactions and cards!

Neat an concise bullet hell and swarm survivor mix. Unique weapon mechanics would make you plan ahead for making space for new items in field in such way so it buffs your main weapon to push your strength up.

And cheap for that

Some people compare this to Balatro, but it was developed at same time and is much better in my opinion.

A blackjack where ANY card can be found and used in matches with unique effects and flavour. Along with that it's a roguelike with deck builing, "dungeon crawling" (exploring different options while keeping in mind your resources - money and HP) and unique opponents. Gambler who hopes for big hit? Or a guy that instead has strategy to make your life pain?

There are many different options and what makes it cooler is that enemies have deck just like you. It's not some NPC with score - they have tailored decks to have specific strategy.

Should play
