insanely good game - Story, combat, exploration, visuals, cutscenes and mysteries only get better as it continues. The story starts a bit slow but the devs quickly find their own direction for the game rather than being "another genshin clone" which wuwa definitely is not.

If you're put off instantly cus "gacha" - for a start you dont have to ever spend any money? Explore and complete challenges around the vast world and you will earn the Astrite (ingame currency used for pulling characters and weapons)

And secondly, my god you are missing out if that keeps you from playing the game.. but to each their own. All i can do is strongly recommend giving it a go ^^

UPDATE (24/9/2025): Dawntrail.. actual fights are a new level of amazing with new mechanics and stuff but the story and characters as well as other internal stuff with the way SE works made me quit.

Might return one day though unlikely without big changes. So until said big changes happen, I cannot really recommend the game in its current state.

UPDATE (24/42026): Evercold. The big changes I mentioned are actually happening in the next expansion and some unexpected amazing changes already too. I will be returning to the game in 8.0 and relearning game in "evolved" mode perhaps with the new tank theyre cooking up! :3

Best game I've played in years, GOTY hands down.

After playing the game more and getting to understand a little more just how screwed I am going into the complex (thanks r6DX and r6d3). I am only more convinced about how good this game is. With the game fully releasing going out of beta it added a lot of stuff making the game feel better and more complete and has provided even more re-playability.

Do not get me wrong, I am insane and love difficulty in games but stay away from this game if you do not like extreme difficulty. By this i mean you need to have lots of patience, you need to be fine learning and improving with trying and re-trying a single level for hours or even days to complete it.

The bots do an excellent job to fill the 4player requirement (as difficulty doesnt change based on player amount) but of course having friends to play it with makes things better as with any game.

The feeling of accomplishment cannot be described when you finally do complete a level, if you and some friends are up the challenge I couldn't recommend a game that'll give you a better sense of accomplishment.

The only complaint is game was not playtested properly, i was able to casually skip many puzzles by jumping of off cameras or cubes to the end or using source physics to strafe and bhop to increase my movement speed. The final level is a joke you can just light bridge to the end skipping all the laser timing gates which is sad.

Just play bl2 again or wait for bl4

Once you learn the mechanics and set your mentality for grinding and timing your attacks and such, not thinking you are indestructible and blaming the game.. this game is godly, very quickly became my absolute favourite game!

Best game, over 9K hours now and im no where near bored of it! Would definitely recommend trying it. Its a lot deeper than you imagine.

UPDATE: Valve have essentially abandoned the game, it is not like it used to be. Overrun by bots, unplayable.

UPDATE2: Valve fixed bot problem, Now just some basement dwelling 40yr old cheaters left which people refuse to kick and most games are unbalanced af BUT generally fine and still best game
